We love kneaders and only eat here rarely because there are none by our house. We currently never eat out unless we have to because of being on the road, this is due to an infant allergy that goes through breast milk. The allergy is not a common allergen so we need the ingredient list. The website says to ask for the ingredient list and a manager will provide it. We asked and the tone went flat and supposedly she got the list, we were told no to the ingredient but happened to ask a probing question then the worker admitted eventually she just didnât know. I had to ask again are you looking at the ingredient list? âNo.â We were told the food that for us is an allergen wasnât in the bread when in fact she had no idea. This seems trivial to people who havenât experienced allergies but itâs not okay to do. Just say you canât tell them, not no when itâs not no. We know itâs annoying so we never eat out for the inconvenience on staff and on us, and safety, and only because there, at this point, doesnât seem to be a risk for anaphylaxis. Although repeated exposure increases the risk. Please train your staff on the policies listed on your website and on the importance of customer service and transparency when someone is asking about ingredients. People can then make informed decisions about what they can or cannot eat and where they can eat. We can through on 9/8 at 3:20. I have been to places where they just quickly and straightforwardly tell you the ingredients and they are happy to have a paying customer. Food quality: The ciabatta was overdone as was the turkey. Unfortunate because itâs usually so good at kneaders. Not sure about this...
Read moreThe bread was very good, but I ordered a sandwich, they piled 4 pieces of thinly cut ham, (paper thin) in the middle with 3 pieces of chicken (cut 1/8 inch), 4 thinly slices tomatoes and a couple of leaves of lettuce to top it off, then cut the sandwich in half making it look like it was a huge sandwich. It's not. I could have placed everything on one side and had a decent sandwich. There was nothing on the outer edges, nothing. There was a least a good inch to inch and a half around the outer edges that had nothing. It was just bread. We went in and ordered and was told we had to leave and couldn't eat in the lobby because they closed from 11AM to 2PM. I was told that the lady taking our ordered was going to be the only one there, but I saw 5 people in there. She didn't have to lie. No one left the building and I kept seeing people inside. So I had to sit in the parking lot in my car to eat my lunch, because it was to cold to sit outside and my home was 30 miles way and I had more errands to run. When I got my order I specifically asked if there were napkins in the bag and the employees assured me there was. No, there was not. So not only did I have to eat in my car I had to do it with no napkins. This was just a great experience that will remind me to go somewhere else for lunch. Will go back, probably , don't get me wrong the...
Read moreTldr order was completely wrong, would not order again
We ordered 2 sandwiches through the Kneaders website and one was made completely wrong. The sandwich was on the wrong bread, the cranberry sauce was replaced with a small side of cranberries (not sure why this was considered an acceptable replacement?? Salad dressing was incorrect and the cheese was not removed. But don't worry, the edits were highlighted on the receipt they gave us. I called the store and the employee I spoke with was helpful and offered a replacement sandwich but I had to pick it up in person but it seems she didn't communicate this conversation to anyone else. I arrived to the store and the manager seemed confused for a minute then said she'd go make the sandwich. Not sure why they waited until I got there to make it.. I asked if they could refund the delivery fee since I had to come pick up and was informed it would have to be done through doordash. I didn't order through doordash, there's literally nothing they could refund because I didn't pay them. I told the manager I paid through their site and she confirmed I still had to go through doordash. I called doordash and they confirmed they can't do anything since I paid through...
