We stayed one night on a road trip to northern Idaho. We received a coupon for 10% off the entree at Elevation 468 restaurant just 1.5 miles down the road. The restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious. It was a nice benefit of staying at the hotel. The hotel is convenient to shopping and dining. The room is spacious, comfortable and has my favorite feature: a bathtub! I love a sudsy soak after a long day on the road. The Fairfield Inn is next door and also a Marriott property. For the money, I definitely prefer TownePlace Suites. If there is ever a close choice between the two, I am choosing TownePlace Suites. They have a nice fitness center. I managed to get a good workout done before we were back on the road. The breakfast is nice, with a good variety and thick oatmeal. From now on, TownePlace Suites is my go-to!

We checked in around midnight and reception desk didn’t bother to hide their annoyance with us. We asked for a quiet room - they said, you are going to be fine and gave us a room on the middle floor close to maintenance. The room had residue of somebody’s hair in the bathroom, dirty towels and bed linen. We were so exhausted to try to receive decent service that we had to make it work. When we were checking out and the reception desk asked us how was it, I said not good at all. They just said, ok, you are good to go. I was so shocked that I asked again and received the same answer. Marriott standards just keep getting lower and lower. Seems like they take advantage of travelers because they are right near the highway to Washington. We will avoid Marriott and this hotel in the future.

Fantastic hotel. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and as far as actually looking at what a modern business traveler needs, this place has done better than any other place I've seen. It was super comfortable and had a very versatile living/working area with abundant plugins for tech and multi-function, adjustable work space. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price was fair. I'll seek out this brand for all future travel. The only gripe I have is that the water temp in the shower was very sporadic and we couldn't tune it in to a comfortable temp. It was either scalding hot or uncomfortably cold. I'm sure this was just a small issue that doesn't exist across the entire brand but it was irritating. Other than that, it was great!

I booked this hotel using Marriott points for 2 adults for 2 nights. The location was great, being close to restaurants, shopping, attractions, major highways and more. The inclusion of a hot breakfast buffet was a bonus, although it had a very carbohydrate-heavy selection, with the exception of the eggs. We were grateful for the choice of hard boiled and scrambled eggs, and definitely preferred the hard boiled variety because the scrambled eggs looked and tasted “fake”, like powdered eggs, not fresh scrambled eggs. The bacon was cooked just like we like it – very crispy. The suite was well-equipped with a full cooking kitchen, which we did not use to the fullest extent, although we did take advantage of some of the serving ware to reheat restaurant leftovers in the microwave. And the refrigerator came in handy for those leftovers as well as beverages. The bathroom had everything we needed and I liked the “bulk” shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in lieu of travel size bottles. The wall-mount TV is in an odd position to watch from the sofa – it left my neck a little sore from having to turn it to the right to watch. Lastly, while the closet was large and had decent organization, due to the compactness of the room, there is very little space for 2 wheeled carryon pieces of luggage, and no luggage racks on which to place them. Therefore, we had to use the sofa and ottoman, further reducing the space to watch TV or surf the internet on our mobile devices. The shared patio and BBQ space outside was very nice and a “thoughtful touch” for this hotel. The staff was friendly and recommended a few dining options nearby for dinner, one of which we tried: “Jakers”, which was a very good recommendation.

Given the other lodging options in the immediate area, I would choose TownePlace suites again if the price is competitive and if I were only staying one or two nights. It was a clean, well-equipped suite hotel that did the job...

We stayed here before (also during Covid-19), and the rooms were all very clean (as before), and the room very large and functional, with comfortable bed, a clean good bathroom, and a kitchenette. And they take dogs! My only minor complaint is that water pressure in the shower could be better. And a very minor complaint with design of the shower drain, which is a rectangular metal piece on the floor beneath the shower head. So after one turns of the tap, there is about 2 minutes of drops falling and resonating on the metal drain like a drum. Not an issue with someone who showers in the morning (like me), but if I showed before bedtime the dripping would drive me crazy - design flaw.

But it's a great hotel, comes with free wifi, free breakfast (fresh made waffles, eggs and sausage, fresh fruit, OJ & other juices, coffee and tea, and more), and free parking, with friendly staff and large (suite) and comfortable...

We arrived early, and the front desk processed us quickly. All the staff were polite, friendly and professional. Lots of free parking and I appreciated that I was able to park near the covered entry as I was travelling by motorcycle.

The hotel is in a great location near several restaurants within a few minute drive. Their famous canyon is worth exploring and is about seven minutes away (driving).

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was firm and provided a great sleep. The kitchen was well equipped. The 24-hour access gym is clean and the equipment was in working order. The hot tub and pool area were clean and well maintained.

The breakfast was great and nice to start the day with a hot meal. Check out was just dropping off the access card and back on the road with the room bill being emailed to me. I will visit this location again, when in the area. The app...
