Yes, agreed. Staff is friendly, engaging and helpful. We especially appreciate the front desk and housekeeping experiences we have had. This review is from our 2nd try here in roughly four months. In town to visit relatives and friends then do business. Stayed seven days/nights. I allowed some slack last time we were here. We are “members”. Good – handy location, staff, sleeping comfort, peaceful (in-room), laundry is free to use well kept and up to date, pavilion out back, diner and fast food is all around (not safely walkable due to major intersections), great water pressure and plenty of hot water, snacks & drinks social three late afternoons per week Bad – ragged around the edges, common break/repair, general upkeep outside is rough, brekkie should embarrass the IHG folks – this is barely a selection. Plenty of yogurt, coffee, peanut butter and string cheese. I was looking for scrambled eggs that were not dry and crusty, some ‘meat’ that is not a turkey product, biscuits and gravy where the biscuit is not hard as a rock and the gravy is at least room temperature, and not that egg, cheese half moon thing I keep seeing. The stair way carpets smell of petroleum products (diesel?, oil?), show excessive staining and are fairly worn. Ugly – room #241 felt/smelled musty and turns out to have HVAC filters, windows and window dressings that suggest regular facility cleaning and maintenance is not scheduled here. After two nights, I checked the unit, took both filters out and cleaned them in the bathtub. They were nasty. I think one of their towels was ruined in the process? I don’t know – the free brekkie sign says 6:30am (weekdays). Does that mean just beginning to heat things up and start the juice machine at 6:30am? I prefer the oranges and bananas to be fresh and pleasant to look at. The pavilion is large with plenty of seating and tables and two gas grills. Unfortunately, it is as filthy as any I remember trying to use. The chairs, tables, umbrellas, grills, pavers, concrete, and parking around the pavilion haven’t been cleaned in months/seasons? It’s OK. Nobody got hurt. We will try a different place when in town this coming fall. I’m guessing this may be called an average experience. Slightly disappointing but the chances of finding...

Read moreI have been staying at StayBridge Suites since April as we recently moved from Florida and selected StayBridge for our short term living while I sought employment. The staff has been absolutely a blessing, and truly goes out of their way to treat you with the kindness and familiarity one would expect in a long stay environment. You get to know people and they get to know you which truly add to the feeling of being at home. I think about the Keycard cover Warm, Welcoming, Home-Like, Community, Caring, Thoughtful, Social and Down-To-Earth and in each one’s own unique way the “Front Desk Team”, “House Keeping”, “Dining Staff” and “Maintenance Staff” hit the nail on the head in meeting these requirements. I have received excellent service and these qualities from many of staff members but especially want to call attention to Denise and Kelbi from the Front Desk as they have gone out of their way to make me feel at home and they are always willing to go the extra mile to let me know I am valued. The remainder of the Front Desk Team has been great as well they are just here less. In house keeping the Pam who leads the department is just down to earth and truly kind and concerned. The team of Claire, Joanne, Tiffany, Denise, Mary, Jodi, and Jasmine are truly hard working and just a joy to interact with! They really make me feel special! Clint in maintenance is quiet, hard working and friendly! I enjoy saying good morning to him and his work in my room when needed. Overall I have enjoyed my stay and look forward to seeing the team here at StayBridge and other long term guest you get to know just like you would your neighbors! For those of us here for long term periods, it becomes our home, our community and the people who work here make that happen. Perhaps the one thing I did not find appealing and the one reason I have regrets choosing this hotel is something I would not have considered and that is that management could certainly learn much from the staff. My only truly negative reviews would be less than stellar treatment from them as it relates to all I have boasted about and treatment that falls short of the teams of people I have mentioned! But to the staff, hats off and thank you for making our temporary home...
