Taco Bell — Restaurant in Upper Macungie Township

First off I want to praise this Taco Bell for how wonderful you all did through that huge rush. I couldn't believe how long the line was. I've never in my lifetime seen so many cars drive through a fast food parking lot. i don't give the 5 stars out often but you all truly deserve it. So congratulations to the brilliant performance and rapid speed under such pressure. I placed an order via drive thru at around 7:00PM on 10/08/2020. There were two kids outside taking orders with the tablets; both incredibly friendly. While placing my order, I emphasized "no cheese" on my tacos, however while I was trying to emphasize it, a man came outside and (politely) yelled out for them to go back inside of the restaurant. I pulled up to the window, paid for my order, received my order, then drove to the parking lot to check my order. I had a feeling that the gentleman (unintentionally) distracted them by yelling out for them to go back inside. And I was right. There was cheese on them. I had to get them corrected, which they did. They remade the tacos, and the manager handed them to me through a window next to the main entrance door with the biggest smile across her face, thanked me for my patience, and wished me a great night. I couldn't believe how incredibly friendly she was during such an insanely busy night. Everybody did great. Way above my expectations. Will preface this by saying that the workers were very nice people. However, messing an order up three times in a row is inexcusable.

I ordered through the app: one spicy potato soft taco, one fiery Doritos taco with black beans, one Loaded taco fries burrito with chicken, and one Black Bean loaded taco fries burrito.

When I first pulled in, I was handed the wrong person's order, no big deal. I then told the person at the drive thru what I ordered and they remade it. When I opened the bag, three of the items were correct: however, the black bean loaded burrito was not correct, I was given the flatbread black bean taco, a completely wrong item. I then went again through the drive thru and gave the person on drive thru my phone and showed them my order. After a minute they said they understood and said they would remake the burrito. I was also given free taco coupons (side note: they expired 5/31/21, lol) and cinnamon twists as a sorry for messing up my order, which I appreciated the gesture. Well, when I opened the burrito, after the third time going through the drive thru, it looked fine, except for the fact that it was missing one thing: Fries! What is the point of a loaded taco fries burrito without the fries?? And I'm only so frustrated because it was the third damn time going through and for my food to be messed up without someone doing it on purpose seems ludicrous. Will never...

I've been away for 2 years for health reasons. Before then I'd stop @ this taco bell @ least twice a week after I got off work. It'd always be around 11:15 - 11:30pm. I'd go thru the drive thru & joke with the staff on speaker & @ window. They loved it & got to know me as a regular. I'd always get the same thing. It got to the point that I'd pull up to the order box & say, "Hi its me. I want my regular please" the voice reply was always a particular staff girl. She would laugh & say, "ok, pull forward please". I'd get to th window & staff would have my complete order ready. I'd tease & joke with the drive thru girl for a couple minutes. Shorter if there was anybody waiting behind me. I'd pay & take my food home 🏡 I'll try to attach a pic of a message they left for me one night when I went to eat my food.
