SECOND EDIT: never got any response whatsoever, weeks after their message instructing me to reach out so they can assist me. I can only assume they left that response to make it look like they rectified the problem. WHICH THEY DIDN'T.
EDIT: reached out as instructed by Lilith and after 24 hours, still haven’t received any kind of response or follow up. Their response to my review saying I would receive “immediate attention” and implying they want to make it right has, so far, been an outright lie. What a shady, untruthful business.
This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Was assigned a room that didn't have working AC. The temperature outside was at least 20 degrees cooler and the unit would only trickle out hot air. Asked Gina at the front desk to move us to a different room. She declined, saying that it was their "policy" and that they were not authorized to move us to a different room until maintenance went to the room and confirmed that the AC wasn't working. We waited in the room for a half hour, sweating waiting for the gentleman to come. Maintenance never came so we walked over to the office and waited there while maintenance supposedly went to the room to check. Gina said he confirmed the AC was working. Either maintenance or Gina was lying, or the maintenance guy never checked the room at all. She refused to move us to a different room, even though they confirmed they have other similar rooms available. She also refused to refund our money. Abysmal customer service, rude and disrespectful and difficult on purpose. And they're franchised so they don't care how terrible your experience is. Going to be sleeping in my car tonight. Find somewhere else, ANYWHERE ELSE, to stay. All the negative reviews are legit. If you still want somewhere cheap in price, go to the Motel 6 on E Thompson Blvd instead. That one was leaps and bounds better. To management reading this, if you read it, I don’t want “assurances” that you’ll improve your service. That doesn’t rectify my experience. I want a...
Read moreMe and my partner stayed a night here, it was really loud, the walls were thin, and there was no soap, towels, or anything of that sort provided. It didn't matter to us but we checked out almost last time because we didn't realize what time it was- our fault. But anyways, in the car ride my partner realized he left his promise ring in the motel. Stressed, he drove back as fast as he could and they let us check the room for the ring but it was gone and missing from where he last remembered putting it. I went over there myself scanning the ground just in case then searching everywhere while the cleaning lady also looked. Nothing.
My partner tells me he didn't wanna call reporting it missing and requesting us to search it because he said motels in CA are known for their staff stealing jewelry and other things, if I knew this I wouldn't have told him to call before we got there. He was really upset and well, to sum it up we sat there in the parking lot after searching for 25 minutes, him in distress holding me. To be honest, I think one of the cleaners must've stolen it because no more than 1 hour later we got a voicemail while we were out saying they found on the ground right outside the room. If not, they saw the engagement on the ring with our promise and initials- or both. I think they felt bad and decided to give it to another staff member to turn in leaving us that voice message. If you stay here, please leave nothing behind. The only reason I gave it more than a 1 star is because we got the ring back, but knowing it had to have been stolen I couldn't give it more than I did. That's just messed up overall and my partner was in much distress because of this
Edit: I want to contact you guys but you require the confirmation number for me to send a request and my partner is the one who booked it. I'll have to try getting him to send it to me so I'll contact as soon as he...
Read moreThe room itself was decent for the price and area. The customer service, however, is lacking. My boyfriend and I wanted to extend our stay by an additional day, which we had communicated to the front desk staff. However, even after we had communicated to them we would be paying, they were rushing us and told us they would charge us an additional $60 fee for “checking out late” yet we weren’t checking out… we were extending our stay & had communicated that to them. Because of this, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Not only that, but the employee named, Maria, is tainting This particular Motel 6’s reputation. After we moved out our items from the room, she threatened to fight me by saying “look at me like that outside”. As a guest, I feel that it’s unacceptable for a Motel 6 employee to be Threatening me with violence especially when I hadn’t told her anything violent, aggressive, rude, etc. My boyfriend and another Motel 6 employee witnessed her telling me this. Then, I went to the front desk to talk to her about this and confirm if she was threatening me, and she proceeded to shout at me incessantly and I quote, “I think you are hearing things.” Meanwhile I didn’t raise my voice at this woman at any point. As an outsider, one would think I was the employee and she was the guest with how comfortable she was disrespecting me, yelling at me, and threatening me with violence after a lengthy stay at the motel 6. Maria did all of this in front of another guest and two other co-workers, which shows that she’ll resort to violence in front of anyone or anything. Instead of de-escalating the situation, she was more than ready and eager to escalate the situation. This woman is a threat to the establishment and should be reprimanded for treating...
