First time for us at a Black Bear Diner. The whole experience was great here at their Ventura Location. Scott, our server, was very warm and kind. We enjoyed the ambiance there and the food was very pleasing. My wife ordered the light meal of the Bear Paw (which was still a lot serving wise) and I ordered the All You Can Eat Fish, with Sweet Potato Fries and cole slaw. The fish from the fish and chips was very solid and filling, I asked for another round, bit into it a couple times (got two more fillets) but was completely stuffed. We were very satisfied and we did try the dessert too.
We Highly Recommend the Carrot Cake, this was a fantastic treat! It’s something we look forward while returning.
The menu is very broad, so many meals to choose from. Black Bear Diner was a great replacement for this location which once was Carrows. They Even Have Prime-Rib!! 🇺🇸😊🙏🏼. Thank you again, great...
Read moreThis is a very convenient shopping center for this area. The donut shop it's fantastic, ask for Nelsie 😊 There's a Starbucks, but beware of their never ending, overflowing trash can outside of the place. Meridians is a favorite of ours and has amazing vegetarian options. Vons is big and really well kept, but I swear the prices are higher because we're at the beach. The postal/shipping shop is not my favorite because of the owner. In my experience he wasn't the most friendly or helpful. There is also a salon, a small sports store, a bike shop, a Subway, Carrows, Chase Bank, Chevron and a few realty offices. All in all, this is a great little...
Read moreThe shopping center is pretty nice but the company that manages it, Hoffman, Vance & Worthington, Inc. is bad. I Had a horrible experience with this company. Diane McCall (one of the property managers) is a most demeaning and disagreeable person. I hope no one has to deal with her in the future. She yelled at me and accused me of parking in the parking lot overnight - something I have never and would never do. She threatened to tow my car on sight. When I was able to prove myself innocent and show that she had confused me with another person she never apologized or admitted to her mistake. Very...
