Lovely beach on the coast of California. Long concrete walking paths and beautiful views to the ocean and a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the ocean views.
Some of the benches are placed so near by the ocean that you can feel the waves breaking and giving your skin a gentle splash and mist.
This coastal city has a lot of tall hotels with an ocean view. Those who love to enjoy beach views and the beach from the hotel balconies, this beach and location is perfect just for that.
The beach has also playground for kids and a long sandy shoreline to have an amazing walks at the beach on the morning and in the sunset.
There are plenty of restrooms in the area as well with wheelchair access and places to have picnic on the grass for those who prefer picnic tables and grass and of course the picnic on the beach is amazing too.
The backpacks are better for the beach and the coolers with sand rollers as are the carts with sand wheels so it is more enjoyable to walk on the sand. Right beach equipment makes a day more pleasurable!
Enjoy the beach!

Read moreNice beach! Pay the parking fee and support your local beaches. Maybe they'll use the money to replace the beat up parking lot. Bathrooms are adequate; they are artsy cylinders with a toilet per cylinder. There are showers to wash your feet as well. There is a boardwalk over some dunes to the sand. It gets you most of the way. The beach is sandy (duh) with lots of smallish rocks if you like that sort of thing. The kids can stack them. There are breakwaters and a pier along this beach (depends on where you park). You might get tar on your feet, so be aware. There are life guards. One part has a large area for parking bigger vehicles (again, it depends on where you enter). We enjoy...
Read moreNot my favorite beach. One upside is that it is never crowded and pretty calm. It also has some very cool rocks. There is also a large park at one of the parking areas for the beach with a playground and picnic areas. Closer walk to the bathroom than say somewhere like Santa Monica. We come to this beach when we want to make a quick trip without traffic from Santa Clarita. It is always cloudy at the beach when we go. Two miles inland there will be sun but barely any at the actual beach. Flies in the sand and a lot of seaweeds but you really cannot complain about nature. You can find some free parking on the street and some two hour parking. Other parking areas...
