First let me say that I've stayed at this hotel for years, probably a hundred days / year already I'm sure. There was a mess of machines all over the lobby and loud fans, I couldn't hear a word the lady trying to check me in said to me. I could not watch anything on TV the entire time I was there, I tried and tried and I never could get things to work out with the TV and finally just used my phone. Because of the flood or whatever happened here, I had breathing problems the entire time I was there. I had to go out and buy a air purifier to try to get any rest. It was a long stay and definitely extended too long this time. Where did the old staff that got such high customers service scores, for the entire company. Where are they now? Have you gotten rid of them, because you had the top of three lines all stars, look at the rating you had the last several years vs now. Goo ahead I'll wait...The entire staff has changed, and so has the quality. To the suits of extended stay I say, to you this, you wanted cheaper labor and staffing, and you got cheaper definitely. Enjoy the buck, you got being agreedy cheap suit.I'm heading to the courtyard. They are consistent with quality. Ohh and one more thing, it's completely lacking any class at all seeing you tape papers about a deposit up all over the place, making the visual appeal of your lobby look like a sad burnt out red roof in the ghetto. Take that trash down. We know when you stay in a hotel you put in a deposit. Or atleast present it in a clear way that does not include Scotch tape. Is this third grade??! One last thought. I don't know what happened here, a flood, I'm not sure. But having allergies to mold I was miserable and barely able to breath. Why don't you let customers know that potentially could be a problem sooner, like maybe before I come check in. Some of us have asthma. You must have ran out of crayons and tape,so we didn't get that memo, like your 400 scribbled and Scotch taped everywhere assaulting my eyes with your rubbish about a deposit . See u later, or actually I'll see the staff at...
Read moreI had the worst experience ever let's start off with the Manager Alexis I don't know who made her manager but baby put her back. Very disrespectful walk around with attitude like something stuck up her ass. They have people who smoke weed inside the building and blame others for it besides finding out who the culprit actually is. The elevators are currently not working. Also a very unsafe environment there was a man who was on the premises who did not even stay at the extended stay of America and assaulted my husband they then try to put us out but little do they know they would be getting sued. Also they have workers that stay and are on the property who sit around and gossip about customers telling our business amongst themselves they are very unprofessional besides ms Cynthia and Gigi very professional ladies. They have coworkers that stay on the property and then at the end of the day when they're done doing their shift they go to their cars and smoke weed. Also last night during the assault she puts us out versus a tenant who doesn't even pay or wasn't even paying there rent who should of not even been on the property himself nor his friend and had to nerve to put us out due to my husband's reaction because of the person who assaulted him who shouldn't been on the property. The coworker that they had staying on the property I didn't even know she was on duty last night she was in her room in room 222 and then wakes up open the door telling my husband he needs to stop talking loud in her night clothes after he got assaulted. She tell us that she has to call her manager about what happened but she wasn't even on shift and on her duty but was in her night clothes talking about she working. Then goes to her room and then change in to her America extended stay clothes to pretend she was working but she wasn't. How is you on duty and sleep 😴 ijs they don't know how treat people or customers don't waste your time. Also the older cleaning lady she was so sweet very nice always I couldn't catch her name in the last 2 months I been...
Read moreThe front desk associate was extremely rude upon my arrival on the evening of April 8th. He was difficult to speak to because he was ‘under the influence.’ He informed me that the room I booked and paid for 2 days prior to check in date was unavailable because the Extended Stay America policy is ‘first come, first served’ and that they did not have any rooms available for me anymore. What’s the point of making a paid reservation if the policy is first come, first serve?? I was sent to a different location 20 mins away in which my reservation was not transferred, and I had to pay an additional $250 for the other hotel. I called the Wildwood location to speak to someone about getting a refund for my original reservation and I was told that I can’t be issued a refund because I was listed as a ‘no show’ since I didn’t call by 6pm to let them know my arrival time that night and so my reservation was cancelled. The lady asked if I wanted to be transferred to speak with Guest Relations where she told me they would tell me the same thing, after which instead she hung up the phone. I then called Guest Relations myself to get information on getting my reservation being refunded. I told the gentleman on the phone about what I was told their policy was and he informed me that it is not true and had no idea why the employee at the wildwood location would tell me that…he was unable to issue a refund because I booked my reservation through a third party. So I called Snaptravel, and they were able to issue my refund after the agent with Snaptravel told me I should be glad I didn’t stay there because the manager there was extremely rude. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t because it sounds like I dodged a...
