I ordered a chicken biscuit entree with honey butter/honey glaze on the biscuit. The same honey butter/honey glaze that is on the chicken minis. I've ordered this at every Chick-fil-A I've been to for breakfast since the chicken minis came out. I've never been told it can't be done or that the Chick-fil-A doesn't do it. So I ordered it today. When the cashier brought us our food, she said that she found out their store doesn't do it. I asked why and told her that every other Chick-fil-A I've been to has done it with no problem. She said it's something their store just decided not to do. She couldn't give me a reason for why, just that their store didn't do it. I was disappointed, but honestly not entirely surprised. Chick-fil-A's customer service has dramatically declined. The stores are stingier, less accommodating, and more argumentative with customers. I've had stores argue with me about how many sauces I've asked for, even though I only asked for the amount that can be ordered in the app. Stores no longer give free unlimited refills on drinks. And now I know that some stores will refuse to put honey glaze on the biscuit even though there is no reasonable reason for them to deny the request when every other Chick-fil-A does it. At this point, I've been getting better service at McDonald's, and that's just sad and shameful for a company that purposefully advertises being a Christian company.
Edit: on Monday, December 23, 2024, my sister went through the drive through at this location and ordered my biscuit with the honey butter on the biscuit. They did it with no issue. Today, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, I come into this location to get breakfast (don’t judge my frequency to Chick-fil-A l) and they refused to put the honey butter glaze on it and said they don’t do it. I told Vanessa that I was able to have it done Monday no problem, and she said she’d have to talk to the kitchen because it’s against policy. I told her that every other Chick-fil-A does the honey butter on the biscuit and asked why it seemed to be only this Chick-fil-A’s policy. She said they had a health inspector mark them down for using the brush on the biscuit. I asked why every other Chick-fil-A I’ve been to has a 100 but will still do the glaze on the biscuit. She said she didn’t know and I suggested it was because this was just a crappier location that I always seem to have problems at. Also, if it was a problem with using the same brush on the biscuit as the minis (which I doubt) then use a different brush. How hard is that?! I asked for a customer service number and she told me it was posted on the door. I asked for any other number because I’ve tried contacting support about this and have gotten no response. She said that’s the only number. I told her I would find a way to get the complaint up there and got her name. I will be leaving a review in the app, on here, and anywhere else I can. I will be finding out who the store manager is and finding a way to contact them. I will find a way to contact corporate. I have enough going on in my life and enough stress and disappointment to manage without going to Chick-fil-A and having them be difficult...
Read moreUPDATE (12/31/2023): Alas, the once shining beacon of quick service and attentive care that is Chick-fil-A seems to have dimmed at this particular outpost. Just yesterday, I found myself rooted to the spot, akin to a forgotten lamppost, as my carry-out order languished in some unseen corner. Minutes ticked by, each one a small eternity, while later arrivals breezed past with their meals in hand. At any other well-oiled Chick-fil-A joint, the staff - from foot soldier to field marshal - would be on you like bees on honey if you stood idly for even a heartbeat. But here, my presence seemed as invisible as a ghost at a feast.
To add insult to injury, my attempts to flag down the staffer who had originally taken my order - a chap who seemed to be meandering with all the purpose of a leaf in the wind - were outright snubbed! Another crew member, lost in their own world, joined the parade of disregard. It wasn't until a third Samaritan finally heeded my silent siren call. I handed him my receipt, a testament to the time already lost. He retrieved my order with the urgency of a sloth in slow motion, offering it to me without a whisper of contrition or a hint of apology, mumbling something about my order being 'bumped' as if that excused the oversight.
But the coup de grâce was yet to come. As I settled to partake in my long-anticipated feast, imagine my dismay when I discovered the culinary swap - my order of a Grilled Chicken Sandwich transmogrified into its less-desired cousin, the regular Chicken Sandwich. A palm to forehead moment, indeed! Upon inspecting the receipt, a curious anomaly caught my eye - my sandwich was listed as 'Free.' This peculiar notation seemed to suggest that I had received a benevolent handout rather than rightfully redeeming a gift card. It was yet another bewildering blunder in an already calamitous sequence of service mishaps.
This series of unfortunate events has left a sour taste in my mouth, one not even the savory bite of a correct sandwich could remedy. And so, I write this woeful feedback, a harbinger of caution to all who cherish their time and taste buds. It is with a heavy heart that I must now view this location through the lens of skepticism, with hopes that the management will right the ship before this establishment slips further into the abyss of mediocrity.
Circa 2021/22: One of the best chick-fil-A restaurants out there. They’ve never disappointed me. It’s a joy to eat there. Their food and service is one of the best, unlike the one at Akers Mill Square. It’s very clean and the staff are super professional, friendly and...
Read moreThis afternoon I experienced the worst customer service I have ever had. I would have thought I was at a McDonald's the Ridge Gordon aka. The owner of the Chik.fila on paces ferry acted towards me. I did a mobile order like I always do. I went through the drive thru line granted I did not stop at the Marquee because normally at the one by my house I don't and normally people are outside. So Gordon came to my car no "Hi, how can I serve you" he said " do you have an order?" I said yes I did a mobile order he said "what's the name" I gave him my name. And then he looked and said I don't see your order can I see your app. Then he noticed that I ordered at the wrong location so I canceled that order to start one with him. He was very rude the entire time as I was placing my order with him. I told Gordon this is he worst attitude I have ever witnessed at a Chikfila establishment. Then he asked for my payment and I said you do you have Apple Pay and he gave me this snarky attitude again. So once I paid. I told him he is acting like an a-hole for no reason, then he said he will no serve me with my bad attitude and that he owns this store and I can leave. Then when I requested to speak with a manager Hunter and Gordon both said he is the manager and I need to leave. I had already paid and the money still has not been refunded to my account. I would like for someone to call me about my experience at this location I will never visit this...
