Tacoholics — Restaurant in Wall Township

I had a birthday coupon and when i went to use it in the store they couldn’t figure out how to apply the coupon (multiple people were there and no one knew how to apply a birthday coupon). They said they couldn’t figure it out and one of them (who i assumed was a manager) said he would just give me an entire free entree next time i came in. He didnt put any notes in the computer and did not give me an actual coupon/voucher to use for the next time i came in. This was all no issue to me as i thought they would give me a free meal next time i go there upon my request since they didn’t give me a voucher to use or anything. I thought they were easy going about it, it turns out they just didn’t care enough. When i went back a week or 2 later the guy working there said “oh he’s not here right now” referring to the guy that said he would give me a free meal. He then offered to give me a “Veteran or Student discount” which is nice but not good enough and i am not either of those things. I did not want to pay full price again even with a small discount. I would not even have cared if they couldn’t figure out how to apply a birthday coupon, but don’t tell me to come back for a free meal and then do this. Disappointed in the lack of professionalism from the staff here. Food is good though if you wanna pay $15...

The second you walk in the door you are greeted by amazing staff. They are very friendly, patient and explain the entirety of the menu. It was my first time there. The staff member even shared his favorite menu items. Ordering was easy. You can dine in, which is very clean and inviting. The wait time was minimal. We ordered two quesadillas and chips with queso. The southwest beef quesadilla was delicious. My husband got the grilled chicken with bang sauce in a quesadilla, that was amazing.They brought it right to the table. We walked in to the space on a Saturday night at 5:30. It was so quiet and i'm not sure why. The 2 employees behind the counter were lovely, friendly and extremely patient with our group that included 2 children. The person taking our order was also quick to offer alternatives for some items our kids are "used to eating" and the recommendation hit the spot! The food was surprisingly delicious. Fast, hot and very tasty. We will be back to try more items on the menu. When we asked for to-go boxes the employee was very concerned to make sure we were happy with the food and service.
