Service has suffered. We love the pizza but tonight was the last time I will order from them. After paying online, their system said the pizza would be delivered in 61 minutes from confirmation. I decided to shower. 26 minutes later, the driver is outside my building trying to deliver, but I of course do not hear the phone ring. He decides to leave after waiting for some time and marks the pizza as delivered. Once I see the missed calls, I call the store. A very annoyed woman listened to me and said she would ‘try’ and call the driver to have hime turn around and come back. I expected she would say they would make another, but she didn’t and I was upset at both her unconcerned attitude and my cold pizza, so I even said.. ‘Great, now the pizza will be cold.’ Fast forward 15 minutes and I call back. Was placed in hold twice while they summoned the manager. After 11 minutes on hold, the manager informs me that ‘they’ cancelled my order because I said it would be cold. No phone call, no verification. Nothing. I’m waiting for pizza to arrive and it was all for nothing. I never said cancel- I said I was disappointed that the only option the first person gave me was to ‘try’ and turn the driver around, but I was fully expecting to get pizza. Never again. If you read through the reviews, you'll see a lot of issues with delivery and service. I should I have paid more attention to this. This is one of the worst delivery experiences I've ever had.
Ordered through a delivery app. A pizza, two slices, and some knots. Driver comes, and the pizza (the bulk of the food) is missing. Driver says it's all he was given. Delivery app just wants to refund the pizza, which is unhelpful as it doesn't solve the lack of food problem. I call We, The Pizza directly and was told that yes, they still have the pizza and it wasn't given to the driver and that they can have someone re-deliver in 30 minutes. An hour goes by. I call back and explain the situation. A manager comes on and says they couldn't make the delivery themselves, the app would've had to send another driver, and then says that maybe the first driver kept the pizza and there's nothing they can do about it. All this after the first employee admitted they still had it and said they were sending another driver. I was floored by the complete lack of accountability. Blew my mind.
I would never order from this place again, nor would I step foot in a place whose employees will just flat out lie to you.

Read moreI used to live in DC and would come here all the time to grab a slice on my lunch hour. After leaving DC and then coming back for a trip with my husband I was excited to take him back to this place to enjoy some pizza after walking around all day. We decided we would order a fresh whole pie instead of just grabbing a slice and that's when it all went downhill. We waited for our pizza for about 20 min when we looked at the receipt and realized the person who took our order wrote the whole thing wrong. We promptly ran back to the counter and told them that the pie was wrong, the employee told my husband that he would fix it. Okay, no big deal we could wait another couple minutes to get the pizza we ordered. Well, 10 minutes pass by, 20 minutes, 30 minutes and our pizza still wasn't ready. We went back to the counter and asked what was going on with the order? The man that told my husband that he would fix it just looked at us confused. Turns out he never made it and the manager had to get involved. We had already waited over an hour for our pizza and we were running late for a meeting we had scheduled.
