The hotel Hampton Inn and Suites charged me 205.52 however when i booked the room my total charges were stated it was only going to 187.98. Im pretty unsatisfied with the hotel. I had specifically booked that hotel for the indoor swimming pool bc we had my 8 year old nephew with us. before booking through Priceline/Booking.com i had specifically called the Hampton inn bc of covid to make sure that the pool would even be open for use. I made my booking only 1 or 2 days in advance & was assured by the hotel the pool was open for use. So i specifically booked that hotel for that purpose. Then we get there & get checked in, im then told the pool was closed for maintenance. The heater in the pool wasnt working. I understand things like that happened but I then asked the front desk when this happened & how long was it closed. I was then told it had been down for over a week. I understand that however i was then lied to 2 days prior regarding the pool. I also requested my room to be cleaned on sat. No one ever cleaned it. So we had no new clean towels or emptied trash. Then the heater in the room didn't work. I wasnt aware of this bc the room was warm until the 2nd night of my stay when i finally turned it on before we went to bed and sat the thermostat for 75 degrees. I then woke up around 4am with a room temp of 47 48 degrees blowimg freezing air. It was 4am and we had children sleeping. So i turned it off to atleast it would stop blowing freezing air. We had to be up check out and be on the road by 830 9 am that morning. So i couldnt have then come and look at it while i had children sleeping. However i adressed my room charge issue and the heater at check out. I was treated very rudely and was blammed as if it was my fault the heater didnt work. I have stayed at this hotel many times and never had any issues with anything. But the staff they have now are all very rude and act like you're bothering them if you have an issue. In my perspective i was originally lied to by the hotel when i called about the pool before i booked my room. Then over charged for my room even after showing the desk clerk my emailed reservation conformation from BOTH Hampton Inn and Priceline who i booked through. To me thats stealing. I wasnt trying to get anything for free i just wanted the difference back between what i paid for the room as to what the hotel decided to charge me for it. Priceline did give me back the difference after speaking with them however it wasnt their fault or responsibility it was the Hampton Inn who needed to make it right. I need have a serious conversation with the general manager because I am sure Hilton does not know what is happening here. The front desk BROCK is unprofessional and was reluctant to provide to me the manager above him also responded to me" He is not a computer expert and oh well the computers are out" . I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone that prefer professionalism and needs to utilize the business center and want a good healthy breakfast. If you do not care... Enjoy!
January Stays: Clean room excluding the lamp did not work and walls are dirty and need painting. Tv lost signal, no on came.to fix it, I called the desk back to tell her am going to sleep. The media room has 2 computers but neither one worked. I had to email my personal information to the front desk to print. I did not like that at all. There was no attempts to correct that. Breakfast is just ok, waffle machine was broke the entire time and very basic and limited options for breakfast items, plus the hot food was slightly warm. Custom service could be a lot better. I like the location and the comfortable bed. 2-3 stars I suppose.

Read moreHair that definitely wasn't mine , was very present in the room, that had been freshly "cleaned" , had to wait a good while for room to even be ready, and I was traveling for work and tired just wanted to rest 4 a bit tried to check in at 259 was informed room is not ready I asked when it would be was told a few minutes then I asked when is check in was told at 3 I was perplexed but I'm sure like everywhere else short staffing could be blame,go sit in my car for 30 minutes come back still not ready they gave me an "upgrade" so I could just get in a room , not sure what the upgrade was stl a room w. A king bed but I appreciate it thank you since I was exhaustedi fell asleep bed is ultra comfy! looking around after nap can't find a cup or ice machine so I can have water I go downstairs found out all they have is bottles of water for $3 I get it as I'm thirsty but seriously not even a plastic cup so I don't have to buy ridiculousy priced water but whatever since I was down there I asked if I could have regular regular coffee for my room as all I had in my room was 4 packs of decaf and I don't drink decaf response uhhh I'll have to see if I even have any please move aside and I'll find out but it's going to be atleast 5 minutes before I can even look so yeah and he just acted super annoyed that i would ask . Same guy argued w.me when I checked in about my room rate whoever took over the transaction in the end thank you! You saved me like $15 and got the correct Rate put in and fixed the overcharge (i dont know name as this was done after i left but so many thank yous), breakfast was....fine and the coffee provided was delicious just had 2 go downstairs every time since I had none in my room. So overall fine but some staff was hopefully just tired and overwhelmed otherwise they were just rude you should provide customers w. Way to have water besides purchasing from the over priced gift shop and the hair in my room was just bad. Water pressure in shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable torn between 3 and 4 stars the guy at front desk who acted like I was being ridiculous because I wanted caffenated coffee for my room really irked but me but ill go 4 stars as everyone...
