BE AWARE THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE: One of the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was terrible and the wait staff had really bad attitudes. I don’t know whether it’s a race issue but it’s giving those vibes. Unfortunately, had I read the previous reviews about this location I wouldn’t have wasted my time nor money. To emphasise, when we first arrived we were seated by the kitchen and decided to move to another location next to the window in which I believe pissed off the wait staff. From then onwards the experience by the waitstaff was rude. After this we obtained a high chair for our child that was too small for him and we decided to get a booster chair to place him in a chair instead. One of our party members placed the high chair to the side in order to seat him to return the high chair and get a booster seat. It appears that the wait staff was watching us since we changed tables. Because immediately after one waitress aggressively walked up snatched the high chair from behind us and returned it to its place and then returned with a chair for the table that we had taken the chair to seat the child in and slammed the chair on the floor pushing it in as a way to let us know that she was annoyed. Secondly, the food was horrible as we were given hard overcooked cornbread muffins and biscuits. We had one order of chicken nuggets from the kids menu that was so hard we couldn’t even break it in half. We also had a catfish dinner that was undercooked and greasy. We were a total of 5 in our party and no one liked the food. The waitress was not friendly didn’t understand our order and seemed annoyed when being asked questions about the menu. We had to constantly remind her about items not received with the order. When receiving our tickets we were charged for the wrong menu item we didn’t order and we advised her and instead of her apologising for the mistake and correcting it. She tried to play it off like we didn’t tell her correctly when we literally pointed to the menu item we wanted and she acknowledged it. She then advised us that she’ll let the registrar know of the mistake and they’ll correct it. So we go to the counter to pay and they have no clue about our situation so what seemed like the manager asked her about the mistake and once again she tried to make it seem like she didn’t know or we didn’t tell her the right menu item. He advised her that the ticket has to be changed before the customer gets to the register not sure why she wasn’t aware of that before sending us there. Finally as we were paying and I was giving my review and the manager was standing there watching me and I assumed realised I gave a low score and asked if there was something wrong. I explained to him everything I indicated here and explained to him how I felt about the wait staff woman and what she did. And his response was I’m so sorry you feel that way and had a bad experience. Didn’t even ask who it was so he could address it. So I’m wondering why he wasted my time asking me questions if he didn’t plan on addressing the issue it was so passive aggressive. It was so unprofessional and un orderly. I explained to the waitress that I'm on a carnivore diet so I only eat the meat I ordered two different dinners each dinner comes with three sides which my dinner mate was going to take home as a side dish we told the waitress to serve it on the side. I asked for no seasoning on my steak I wanted it medium well it was served to the table with blood sent it back to be recovered came back so coated in seasoning and salt I could hardly even eat it I had to scrape it off. the other item I ordered was the grilled chicken breast with the maple glaze and the cheese and the bacon I said no maple glaze no cheese and I got it served exactly with the maple glaze and the cheese and enough seasoning on it to choke a horse. We ate our meal we had to ask to get in a refill on the tea. we asked the waitress about our side dishes and she said they would be available for us at the cashier when we checked out. she brought the ticket and told us no rush on paying the ticket we asked again about the sides and she said they would be at the counter when we paid. we get up to the counter to pay and no sides are ready we have to wait 15 minutes 20 minutes maybe without still waiting on the sides and finally they bring them out and I complain to the manager about the service and got a snide comment back from her about her stopping at my table well when she stopped at the table I told her that my steak wasn't right and her comment was yes it's back on the grill and it'll be out shortly and then she just walked away it's not like I had a chance to say anything else. . I do not recommend this food at all my table mates chicken pot pie was burnt overly cooked the crust. then when we finally got our sides and got out to the car to check it and they didn't even give us all of the sides that they were supposed to give there was three sides per meal and I ordered two different meals so we should have been six sides and there was only four. Read moretoday is my birthday, my mother and grandmother decided to treat me to lunch. I visited the Ridge Rd location in Wichita, KS. Brenda the waitress was horrible. She served my table cold entrees and forgot my mother and grandmothers sides. She displayed an attitude as though she was disturbed by them asking for there food and ketchup. She did not smile, she rolled her eyes and walked off. My mother waived down "Flor" the manager and we shared our discretion, she offered a new order of food and a new waitress. The new waitress came over to ask us what we needed with a smile and removed the appetizer plates from the table and Brenda jumped in front of her to remove dishes off the table. My mother advise her that she did not need to come back to our table as she was no longer our wait staff. Brenda smirked and with a very condescending tone said, oh...im sorry...and walked off. She returned more than once to antagonize and stare at us and purposely walked around our table staring at us talking under her breath. there was no correction in this situation what so ever. Other than the new waitress that finished our table. It is my damn birthday today. I am so disappointed with this staff. I read all of the Diversity and Inclusion programs you have put in place and I feel that Brenda may need some training or fired for blatantly being racist. Flor as well. They were not interested in making the consumer feel important. The feeling of this visit was more like a annoyance. Please correct this issue.
