Howard Johnson by Wyndham Wichita Airport — Hotel in Wichita

If I could give this hotel just the TIP off one of the points of a star instead of 1 full star... I MOST SURELY WOULD!!!

THIS PLACE IS THE MOST HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, UNFRIENDLY, UNCOMFORTABLE PLACES THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED!!!

RUN. RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

The exterior of this hotel is HORRIFIC and EMBARRASSING to display the Howard Johnson name!

The driveway concrete is ALL cracked up and have NOT seen work in ages!!! NO CURVE APPEAL, FLOWERS, OR ANYTHING APPEALING AT ALL!!!

The interior of the hotel is just as HORRIBLE, SCARY, UNSANITARY, and DISGUSTING from the moment you walk in!!! The advertisements and the pictures of the hotel online are ALL LIES, LIES, and MORE LIES with EXTREME EXAGGERATIONS!!!

The check-in area has 2 couches that look HORRIBLY FILTHY & DISGUSTING!!! The set looks like it came from a dumping site and could give someone scurvy, an STD, or fleas just from sitting on it!!! They were both SO DIRTY, FILTHY, and EMBARRASSINGLY DISGUSTING!!!

There is NOT ANY BREAKFAST!!! There are NOT ANY business area or anywhere you can print or receive a fax! There is NOT ANY ELEVATORS!!! There is NOT ANY SHOWERS!!! GOD FORBID you trying to take a hot bath in the DISGUSTING TUB!!!

The cleanliness & sanitation is HORRIBLE!!! The staff claim to clean the rooms, but there is NOT ANY scents of cleaning products on ANY of the carts, or cleaning scents coming from ANY of the rooms, not even Vinegar!!!

The rooms are EXTREMELY outdated, and the bed linen is HORRIBLY DISGUSTING & STINKS!!! The beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and the sheets & blankets had holes, were scratchy and did NOT smell fresh or that they had been washed thoroughly!

The carpet in the rooms is from the 80's and it is VERY OBVIOUS just from looking, it had NOT been shampooed in decades!!! DISGUSTING!

We had to clean, sanitize, and disinfect the door handles, the toilet, sink, microwave and especially the refrigerator because there was an odor when we opened the door... Just to store water bottles and soda.

The housekeeping staff are HORRIBLE, SNEAKY, and PRETENDS to NOT speak English!!! Yet, when I asked for towels they gave it to me, but pretended NOT to know English! SMH.

The staff waits for you to leave and drive away to enter your room and SNOOP through your belongings!!!

They CHANT SPELLS throughout the halls, and use witchcraft on the mirrors and ALL other reflective devices in the rooms to watch and to monitor your privacy and whenever you are eating a simple cracker!!!

This was my first time in "Wichita" and now I see where it got its name!!! SMH

First of all it took almost an hour for the guy to get my girlfriend checked in. The guy at the front desk talked me into gettting 2 nights instead of 1 night like i planed to get in the first place because woth 2 nights i was supposed to get a free night but after i had already paid for it with the credit card he told me we wouldnt get the free night. Went to the room upset got to the room opened the soor and the room had not even been cleaned yet ao they moved us to another room not like the room we wanted woth the king bed instead ir had 2 queen beds. So we call wyndom customer service for them to hang up on us 5 times and finally when we talked to someone they said theee was nothing they could do about the free night we were promised in the first place. The second room cant even watch tc cause there is not a remlte in the room called front desk they said there is nothing they can do if there is no remote next day manager was supposed to bring a remote to never show up very upset will not be staying here ever again and will not recommended this motel to anyone if i could rate lower than 1 star i would but google wont let me just horrible service and dont care about there guests what so ever. Never changed towels so her and i had to use same towel first night but next day went and bought our own from target and half the plugs in the room dont work the ac was blowing hot air on ac and heat just very poor matinace and...

Got there and got a room at 444 card never worked, they hit the handle and finally key worked. Next day same issue had a staff member try to fix it, never fixed it. Waited 20 mins after we called to make sure they were in their way like they said, never came. Called again and were told we have to move rooms because anyone can just open the door and they said that he left for the day this was at 12am. Next room was 412 and key cards didnt work, went down again and only one worked. Same day someone came into our room because they checked the room out to him. Then we had 3 staff members tell us we need to leave aggressively. Complained downstairs and they said the manager will contact us because in their computer whoever switched us rooms never told anyone and it said we were still in 444. Horrible experience. Issues everyday and many people had door issues. Just very annoyed of lack of communication and the manager never was around to contact.
