Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Wilson

1/24/2025 my car was involved in a hit & run in their parking lot. An idiot backed out of the parking lot going the wrong way, backed into my car (as I was sitting in my car) and took off. I have a live (iPhone) snapshot of the fool who hit me driving off down Forest Hill Rd in Wilson, NC. Electric blue early 2000s 2 door Ford pick up truck. I immediately go to the restaurant employees for assistance and ask them do they have surveillance cameras. They claim it was best to call the police. Police was called immediately by one of the lead staff. The lady that handed the guy the order claimed it was a white male with a mustache and he paid with a debit/credit card. Sonic is refusing to cooperate to give tracing information to the police so this bafoon can be brought up on hit & run charges. Corporate was called twice 2/11/2025 (gave them time to investigate/respond) not a peep from anybody & today 2/20/2025 just to be given a deflect & run around. They’ve also been no help, which speaks volumes about the ethics of this laughable excuse of a “company”. Since, I can not be in good hands as a customer/or delivering as a driver for your customers on this property, I will NEVER patronize another Sonic ever in life again and give you another penny or deliver for your app customers again in life! Social media is also going to be hearing about this as well! Please spend your money elsewhere, your property isn’t valued or safe at Sonic and they definitely do not value you as a customer. Hope this place goes out of business...

Sonic starts by making to feel nostalgic about the old soda shops and the person comes to your car for your order, then brings out your food. Now today we have a button which we order and can pay right at the order board. I do admit that the food normally comes out hot and fresh but there is always that one bad experience with the service that sort of sums up all your experience with the place. I very rarely change what I order when I come here. This time I ordered an ice cream cone which was a fatal mistake. The cone looked good but it was not ice cream in my opinion. What I thought were shards of ice were some other substance. I got out my car and complained that it was the worst thing I have had there. The manager explained that the ice cream had a different color and he would refund my purchase. He stated he will have them "clean the machine ". At that point I was floored! The next two days I had stomach bug and couldn't eat. The manager did give a couple coupons for free cones but they were expired. No big deal as I will not be getting ice cream from there again. I will stuck to my strawberry lemonade from now on. Take it from me, your health is important and in my opinion going for ice cream here is not good for...

I went to this sonic location back in December of 2022 for a Route 44 sweet tea (obviously wanted a lot of the drink if I got that size). When I got down the road, the tea was not sweet and tasted like the bottom of the urn. I was disappointed because I didn’t have time to go back. Now, yesterday (06/18) I went for a Lg tea, thinking that this time would be different. Nope, tasted the exact same. I didn’t complain because I tried to give credit that it was close to closing and that would be the only tea I would get for the night. Today, I happened to go back to Wilson so I went back to address it and get it replaced. While they were polite, the tea tastes the exact same. At this point, I would have been better off not going at all. (Hence, I went 10 minutes out of my way on Sunday for tea) So, if you’re looking for sweet tea, don’t waste your time or money here. I don’t know how it could taste different if they have a way to make it. (Ex: Chick-Fil-A’s tastes a certain way, Cookout, etc.) Everyone’s tastes a certain way, but why can’t this location make it to taste the same as Rocky Mount’s? It’s just frustrating because this is obviously a common occurrence and a waste of...
