My Check in date was Thursday and check out Saturday, I called Monday night when I was planning on leaving from Southern California to the Convention, I called and spoke to a woman name starts with an “M” didn’t really pickup the name. I asked if I was able to check in early if available she said she will not guarantee and put it on the notes for when I arrived (I was like “yeah right”). I also asked about me parking my vehicle there before checking in and going to the convention.
Called night before my check in date and spoke to someone in the phone to ask about early check in, she was told me it was possible to head out and park vehicle and go to the show across the street if my room was not ready saving me $20 from parking somewhere else then coming back to check in. She had also told me that Who I spoke to a few nights before was the Manager and she had put notes on my reservation, I was like “WOW” she wasn’t blowing smoke she actually did it.
Arrived Thursday morning around 11am at the hotel headed over to the check in Area and the Assistant manager Male assisted me and made it a breeze to check in early and also informed me that because I was with the show I didn’t have to pay $10 a day for parking, even better news. That same night after the show was over wanted to get in the jacuzzi downstairs, I noticed no light and no towels. Called front desk to inform them, within 20 mins Jose Mejia(really nice guy)showed up with towels he put in the bin and fixed the light problem before he was out of there we noticed the jacuzzi was not really working, he went in there and tried for a good while to get it going and said the motor went out but will be fixed the next morning that he was gonna order the part.
Friday morning woke up with a lil neck kink decided to ask for foam pillows since I was in the app also asked for extra linens all arrived within an hour. when I was heading over to the continental breakfast I saw Someone replacing the jacuzzi pump. Got to the breakfast area and Served myself, this very friend Asian lady thinking her name is Ellen was walking around with a orange juice pitcher every few minutes and asking if there was anything I needed also picking up dirty plates. I was impressed with her Customer service and the next morning before checking out I went back again and she did it again. Very impressed with Whole hotel experience I decided to write this review and post it on where...
Read moreWow! I read reviews ahead of my visit and was hesitant about the reservation but I hit the jackpot and was pleasantly surprised! I was in Vegas for a convention at the Convention Center and this Residence Inn was the perfect location. It is right across the street from the Main center and they had a pass through gate to easily get to the west hall. This was so convenient! Also in walking distance to the strip at Las Vegas Hilton Resorts World/Circus Circus end. Also easy access to convention center monorail station and bus stations. I really have no complaints about the property which sounds mediocre but that is not true. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, grounds are well maintained, shaded with canopy trees, quiet, and I felt safe. Breakfast was above average. They also offered every other day room service instead of either daily or no service which was appreciated. They offered upstairs or downstairs option for those fearing getting stuck with than upstairs. I was fine with an upstairs. Room had a full kitchen which was convenient to save on eating out. Pull out couch was convenient for friend who came for a surprise visit from West coast. Room was comfortable with a couch and a desk to work at. Bathroom was nice, clean, and spacious. Bed was comfortable and i slept well which is usually not the case in a new place and time zone change. I have three minor issues which were petty. Light switch for closet/vanity was in the bedroom and not in the closet area and would light up the room if you needed to go to the bathroom at night. The switch in the bathroom was for the toilet/shower. Petty to mention but was annoying. Shower head was water conserving and low pressure but I get it based on water conservation. Lastly, the wifi and internet tv channels were bad, however they fully disclosed that they were in the middle of an improvement. Our room was rewired on the day prior to our departure so we did not have a chance to check how well it improved. Breakfast was well furnished with stations for coffee, toast, mini-waffles, hot food, and oatmeal. Better than most I have experienced. Did not use the basketball court, pool, hot tub, fitness or laundry but all looked clean. This stay was the jackpot for me and if I get back to Vegas again for this convention, I will...
Read moreI stayed at this place for a concert in Vegas and on our first day my sister and her girlfriend went to use the swimming pool and while using the pool both of their Iphones were stolen. We immediately alerted the hotel manager so we can see who took their phones. They said they cannot access the cameras and for privacy reasons there are no cameras in the pool area. I saw a sign that only hotel residents are allowed in the pool area via their key card so I asked the manager again to check who was last in the pool but hotel manager said guests leave that door open all the time so there is nothing he could do. I was appalled by his response because for security reasons I would want to make sure that only hotel guests are on the property and made it seem like stuff like this happens all the time which goes to show they are somewhat negligent. All the manager (IGOR) offered me was to make a report and then they will open a claim with their insurance. As we checked out I asked to speak to the manager again and I asked if it were any way possible to comp the parking since this horrible accident happened to us and iphone are expensive and my total for parking was only $40 but he said no since they are not liable for any stolen items and proceeded to say that all he could is report it to his insurance. After 2 days the insurance called me to tell me the same thing that nothing could be done. I am not sure what the purpose was to make an insurance claim if nothing was going to be done. I work in customer service myself and in a managerial position and I would have handled this whole situation different. Definitely never coming back to this location and will definitely warn people TO NOT STAY HERE....
