First Watch — Restaurant in Winter Park

I have been to this location before and service was excellent i didnt realize how well they did on my previous visits intill i had a terrible experience this visit. On my visit today on the 4th of july 2023 i had terrible service did not bring me my drink till i had already started eating the tea was supposed to be a flavored tea and it was not it was also supposed to be sweet and was not. i have ordered the same thing regularly and the inconsistency is embarrassing to the management and owners of this store. having no recipe for consistency is a recipe for failure. The server tryed but didnt do well my advice is close down next holiday and actually train your staff how to give custmer service and make sure they are satisfied and mangers need to learn to watch the consistsncy of the product and service thats there job ussaly but not at this location apparently. addison and sara were apparently the mangers on staff we didnt meet them and didnt even see them walking around or in the kitchen atleast from the area were guests are seated. i have worked in this industry for nearly 5 years and would never worm for a company that has such poor training, service, and managment. 1/10 in every aspect. i paid for food i didnt want i asked for fruit on my floridan and was charged nearly $5 for something i didnt want i want the floridan not additonal fruit and paid $5 additonal dollars for something i did not want. i also only had 2 tea’s the first one was not the correct one and sent back and they sweetened it and still didnt taste right but since i didnt have a water i took it anyways so i could atleast have something to drink. never going here again id be horrified to work for such an embarrassing exsperence. charged $55 dollars for a meal i would...

This was my first time going to First Watch after my friends voted it the best breakfast restaurant. I was warned before going that's a bit extra - like avocado toast instead of just pancakes and waffles kind of extra, but I wanted to give it a try. To start with, parking was a nightmare. Every single spot was filled, and we saw people walking from a block down just to eat here. The food itself was alright. My meal, the farmhouse hash, was a little overcooked for my liking; the potatoes were charred on the underside, giving them a bit of a crunch. My fiancee got a wrap from the "healthy" section of the menu, and it was in desperate need of some seasoning... healthy doesn't have to mean flavorless, salt and pepper go a long way. We also had some lackluster service. When we got our food, we realized we had no silverware. We tried to wave down our server when he stopped by some nearby tables, but he didn't even look in our direction. We ended up going back to the hostess to get silverware, but that was after 5 minutes of waiting for the obligatory "how is everything" that servers usually do a couple minutes after your food arrives at the table which never happened. In total, with no drinks, our total was just over $40 after tip. This feels like a lot for breakfast for two with zero extraneous charges. Overall, not worth the hype or time/money spent trying...

Me and my husband had the worst server this morning. We go to firstwatch almost every Sunday for breakfast and never had to complain about the server and food but today was the first time I had to cause we felt rushed and our server was rude. We sat at table 12/1 and our server was Chris. As soon we got seated he ask us do we know what we wanted and I told him to give us a few minutes after we told him what we wanted to drink. When Chris came back to take our orders he rushed us and didn’t listen what my husband was ordering. My husband wanted 3 stacks of pancakes with regular bacon on the side and million dollar bacon but Chris only bought us the million dollar bacon and we told him twice. When the food was brought to us by someone else it was great but not even 5 minutes into eating Chris brought us the bill and took my husband plate thinking my husband was done eating without evening asking if he was done. Me and my husband felt rushed and I ended losing my appetite cause what did. When the other 2 couples was not being treated the same and we had the same server. 1 was there before us and the other couple was after us and they were treated differently. Maybe because they are older and caucasian and me and my husband are younger and my husband is Puerto Rican and I’m Asian. Next time me and my husband will make sure we won’t get the same...
