Clean Your Dirty Face — Local services in Winter Park

Clean Your Dirty Face is an awesome concept for facials. Gone are the days of booking a lengthy spa appointment for a pampering session, 30 minutes is all it takes and totally doable for anyones schedule! Make sure to give yourself enough time to park - my appointment was at 10 and I had to drive around for a few minutes looking for a spot. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was greeted as I walked up. I got checked in and was given a skin care questionnaire/consent form to fill out and sign. I was also advised of the options for upgrades to my facial. I wasn’t sure which one to choose and was told my Skin Boss could make recommendations if I’d like. I sat down for a couple minutes and then my Skin Boss, Kylie came out to get me. Walking in the back I was pleasantly surprised because the facial area was an open concept. There were 3 chairs in a large open room so 3 people can receive facials simultaneously. We went to the spot furthest in the back which I’ll call the chair with a view! Kylie looked over my skin and made some recommendations. Then she placed the steam on my face before cleansing. I went with the oxygenating treatment add on and it was my favorite part. It felt great and was extremely refreshing. The products smelled great (I purchased a bottle of the face oil) and the cooling globes were an impressive part of the treatment. I even ordered some for at home use and can’t wait for them to arrive. My skin was left looking and feeling fantastic. Skin care is so important at every age and CYDF makes it convenient to fit facial treatments into everyone’s busy schedule.

Before I used the face oil the following day I noticed that it contained an allergen that my daughter is severely allergic to. I called to ask for verification as I couldn’t find if the oils are refined or unrefined. (If the oils are unrefined I wouldn’t bring it into the house because there is a possibility for severe reaction if it came into contact with my daughter at all). After reaching out to corporate we weren’t given a clear cut answer and CYDF Winter Park went above and beyond to find the answer. It wasn’t the answer I was hoping for but their customer service at this location is excellent. They don’t accept returns on the products but I was offered a complimentary facial because of the situation. I appreciate the offer but won’t take advantage due to a number of factors including - some products contain almond oil and the traffic and parking is incredibly stressful. I would recommend Clean Your Dirty Face to those that live close and that don’t have a severe almond allergy. Thanks again to CYDF Winter...

I don't see the purpose of this facial spot. It's located in the Trader Joe's parking lot, so there is never parking available. I circled 4 times, called them thrice to no answer, and they didn't have a voicemail set up. Finally after 10 minutes into my appointment they called me asking if I was planning on coming. They had to move a sign & have me park on the sidewalk. The receptionist was very cold & simply instructed me to sign a waiver. The most shocking was the space itself -- it's one room. 🙀 I get facials regularly around Orlando & while traveling. It's meant to be a relaxing experience. Never have a been asked to stay in my street clothes (which got product on it), sit in a dentist chair next to others, & sit in front of a window for spectators to view. I was so uncomfortable & it was so loud. No music was playing, just the echoing chatter of everyone. The facialist kept leaving to clean her instruments which took up a lot of the facial time because there's only 1 sink far away from the dentist chairs. Unfortunately the facial wasn't good either. It was a quick facial which this place prides in but because of that she just ran through the steps so fast. The instruments kept banging together on my face, it was so aggressive. The products didn't have time to absorb into my skin either, so I had very bad pilling walking out of there. I was so embarrassed to show my red face afterwards. I told them of my skin issues which they clearly disregarded because they use the same products on everyone apparently. It took 2 weeks for my breakouts to heal after...

I was excited to try a new facial place in my area recommended by Tiktok but was very much disappointed.

I had my facial with Marissa. She decided a “Fresh” facial was best after hearing my concerns. She started out with a cleanser and did a poor job at cleansing my skin as she did not cleanse my full face. As a part of the new customer special I got the Virgin Bundle ($35) which included extractions, pumpkin peel, and an oxygen boost which would normally cost $50. The pumpkin peel came first and smelled great.. again not applied to my full face. The extractions were next and she only did my nose… only 3/4 of my nose (waste of money). Next was the oxygen boost which she used on my face for 16 seconds and then applied a serum after… again not applied to my full face. She finished my face with a face oil… again not applied to my full face. Where is the sunscreen???

After reviewing my face in the mirror, pieces of the pumpkin peel was on my face. I still have this one annoying blackhead which I hoped she would get during the extractions. My forehead looks dry while the bottom half of my face is oily.

I have had 30 minute facials before that do a better job than this place. I would not recommend this place. I will not be coming back. I recommend going somewhere else if you’re wanting a facial.
