Today was a beautiful, warm sunny day and I decided to stop for a Frappe to cool off. The barista somehow gave the wrong beverage to me so I returned it to the counter. As I was returning mine another customer was putting a straw into my drink which came up for pick up and decided to hold on to it and taste test the chipped cream topping. The barista said no problem that the drink would be remade. So I waited... And I waited. After the next 8 customers were taken care of the barista approached and said are you waiting on something? I said yes, you said you were going to remake my frappe and she proceeded to say what was it again? I told her and she looked at the one on the counter, which at that point had been there for 15 minutes melting and said, "that's your order right there". I said no, you said it was going to be made. She looked at me like She had no idea what I was talking about... I said that one was handled and tasted by another customer and you were going to remake it... She said "that's the order". At this point 'be had enough of the lack of service and decided to walk out. I've been there a few times before and never had a problem but today was the worse service I've had at any coffee shop I've ever been to. Oh, no money back either. I guess while I was patiently waiting for my beverage to be made again they somehow forgot the entire ordeal... Amazing that people can be that clueless.
Update: the manager at the time reached out to me, apologized for the poor service and made things right so it is my duty to update the review and change the rating⌠even after this much...
Read moreGood morning, I just want to start off by saying I deliver to Ginger House twice a week. I never really get anything to eat or drink at coffee shops, then again at one point an time on delivery day the owner approaches me an says would you like some food an a drink before you leave? I froze up an was speechless, and says sure. When I deliver, I am always on the run, not used to being offered food an a drink. So not knowing what to order at a coffee shop, I asked what do you have? what's good?, what do you recommend? Management an (ALL! THE GIRLS!) who work and have worked there are (ALWAYS! VERY! HELPFUL!). There recommendations to me on what to try were on point. So now me not really being a coffee drinker, the girls have broaden my horizons with there choices on what I should try next time. Not to mention the whole staff gives you (FANTASTIC! CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A SMILE) this is a HOTT SPOT. Always busy. People love there coffee. A great place to try if you are in the area. EXPECT! Smiles, great customer service, good food, an your favorite coffee. Please be patient while they may be busy depending on the time you get there. Make this place your spot when it comes to your coffee. ENJOY! Have a...
Read moreThe worst service I've ever experienced!!! Anywhere! Ever! I have been to Ginger House a dozen times and and it is always the same. I am NEVER greeted, I have waited over 5 minutes for one cuppa (more than once), and recently called in an order for hot tea, so I could walk from work, grab a well-steeped cup of tea, add milk and go. I doubted it would be ready when I got there, which it wasn't; and so stood for a few minutes while tea steeped, added cream and left. I got a bit of cream on my purse, but no napkins at the cream station. When I went to counter I was rudely told I could find them at the cream station. Helpful hint: when you are finishing someone else's order when a customer approaches the counter, maybe say something like "Hello, I'll be right with you". instead of just glaring. I've only eaten there twice and the sandwiches were light on meat and quality. I kept thinking it would improve; it didn't. I won't be back. I spent over 25 years working in food service, plus many more in customer service and retail. I learned outstanding customer service...
