I was very happy we chose to stay at this place while in Samarkand, It was very convenient and comfortable. The family who hosted us was very kind and hospitable and the daughter speaks very good english which made it super easy to communicate! The rooms were comfy and had very good AC which was crucial cause it was close to 100°F/37°C during our stay during the afternoons. It is located right next to Registan square which was the best part of this hotel for me. 5 minute walk through a peaceful park and you are at Registan Square which is one of the most beautiful places ive gotten to visit. It is also so lively at night and being so close made it easy for us to go to the square to hang out each night. We were exhausted at night from being out all day so being able to walk only 5 minutes and be back home was so nice. Also as an added bonus the breakfast is absolutely amazing. If you stay here you will eat like a king! This place is an amazing value and i recommend staying here, especially if being close to registan square is a top...

The hotel is located in a lovely, quiet alley, offering a peaceful atmosphere. While taxi drivers occasionally had trouble finding it, the location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk from Registan Square, where all the main attractions and activities take place. The area is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes, making it very convenient. We had booked a triple room, even though there were only two of us. The room was a bit small, and fitting a third suitcase would have been tight. However, the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The family running the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful, especially their daughter Jasmina, who always greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. The hotel has only a few rooms, which adds to its charm and homely feel. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and varied, with new warm dishes served every day. Overall, it was a delightful stay with wonderful...

Great location, clean rooms, wonderful people, exceptional breakfast!

Hotel Jasmina is located in a quite area and is just a 5 minute walk to the Registan area. The location is perfect! Very clean. They served us an elaborate breakfast which was high quality and really delicious. One of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time (even better than some 5 star hotels) It's a small 8 room family run hotel and all the family members work hard in making it a success. They have grown up kids, who understand english a little better than many other places, so it was a bonus. All their recommendations were good too. We had to get our clothes washed, they did it for free. Didn't charge anything despite us insisting on paying. The room was free when we reached before time and they let us check-in earlier. All in all, gem of people who aren't greedy at all and believe in...

I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Samarkand. It is near to all the main attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern. It was also equipped with toothbrushes/paste, soap, and a fridge — all things that shouldn’t be taken for granted in Uzbek B&Bs! Day 1’s breakfast was amazing. Fried eggs and sausages unpictured. On Day 2, we had to have an early check-out as our train was departing Samarkand at 6.13am. At 5.20am the owner personally drove us to the train station! And even gave us a bag of snacks and fruits to go since we were missing breakfast. We were so surprised and grateful for this unexpected kindness. Only thing is that there are a lot of singing birds all around the property (and especially at the breakfast area). We didn’t mind, but if you are the type to mind, you might want to reconsider.

Unbeatable location, only a few steps from Registan Square, yet quiet and relaxing. Rooms are pretty new and well kept. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is good. There was a drinking water dispenser in the hallway where we could refuel our bottles as much as we needed. They have mistakenly registered one of us as a child (under 16) with the local authorities. We just got to know at check out, when we were given our copies. They refused to correct the document, though. Not sure what kind of problem it may cause with immigration when leaving the country.
