Myself and my partner stayed in mango hotel (not to be confused with grand mango hotel literally around the corner from it) on the 18th of November for 1 night.||We booked a standard double room.||So the good points:||- It was in a alright location if you want a beach, food places, a massage or to book in to other hotels around the area as there were loads.||- The reception were extremely helpful and friendly they showed us to our rooms and helped us book a very nice private taxi to Hoi an once we left (who we ended up using for more places).||- The room was clean and spacious with working AC, fan, and fridge to store drinks, and also had very good working wifi.||And the bad points:||- It was a very boring area, there were only a few food places and basically no activities to do, the beach was to rough and wavy and all around there is loud construction EVERYWHERE. The construction is right on your door step to the hotel too going on all night long. (It also cut the power one night so we woke up boiling hot in the pitch black wondering around the hotel, even the elevator was down) ||- The room had one tiny window that was blurred so you couldn't see through it and you weren't allowed to open it, so basically no window.||- The nearest ATM machine (which charges you) was about a mile and a half away which didn't work once we arrived so we then had to get a taxi to find another one that worked.||Overall I wouldn't say it's so much the rooms fault but more the area, it's just boring and everywhere is covered in construction, we left the next day to go to Hoi An (30 minute taxi south) which we enjoyed muchhhh more, we stayed there for 2 nights. ||Taxi from airport to hotel was 136000vnd on the meter.||Another night in hotel was 250000vnd (if you want to stay again).||Food was expensive in the area when compared to places like hoi an, a burger near mango was 180000vnd, a burger in hoi an was 80000vnd so a big difference. ||I'd say maybe go here for one night but don't stick around long there's much better...
Read moreThe Grand Mango Hotel sits about 300meters across the main road and up a side street from the beaches in DaNang. Hard to eat for beach access and even harder to beat for service at the price. ||The desk staff speak excellent English making for a quick and simple check in process before offering me advice and booking assistance for day trips and activities and transport.||The included breakfast has a buffet of mostly eastern-style but international breakfast choices plus an a la carte menu with omelets and pho. Everything was very good and the service again excellent. ||The rooms are standard size with nice bathrooms. Beds are Asian-style firmness. I was on an upper floor and had a great view out over the beach. As a family-style hotel and in the middle of domestic tourism season it was quite busy. I could occasionally hear the other room around me but everyone was courteous about quieting down after dark and I was lucky in being up high where the street noise was no issue. ||Great stay. Read moreMy partner were involved in a motorbike accident. The team at Mango hotel went well over and beyond to support is through this difficult time. When they found out they made sure we ended up at the best local hospital available. Phong, one of the staff, met us at the hospital, helped with translations and stayed with my partner while one of their other staff helped to get me to the hotel and back to pick up a few things. Phong stayed with us the first night until quite late then came back to visit us everyday to see how we were doing and to bring snacks. They also lent us some things like blankets and we're willing to lend money if I wasn't able to get enough cash out to pay the initial bills. Finally because we over stayed by several days because of the accident they gave a big discount on the extra days|I'm so glad we chose to stay at Mango Hotel.|The accommodation was really good value for money to|Highly...
