The hotel that’s absolutely worth trying.

First impressions were the coffee shop at level 1 of the hotel since the Reception is at level G. It is a cozy coffee shop with a great view where you can have a panoramic view of Han River. The drinks were quickly fast, totally shocked by the speed of the staff there while the quality still good. Moving to the reception area, it’s quite small but well maintained, clean with a comfortable smell. When we approached the reception to check in, the first FO staff was not ready friendly, didn’t notice the name but she might busy with something else that’s why didn’t give a very welcoming vibe. But the Trainee that proceeded to store our luggages was very polite and friendly, helpful since we have elderly traveling together, but her name tag only write trainee, without name, so only can say thumb up, hopefully she will be full-time. Since we arrived at the hotel at 1pm so we went to Mành restaurant at level 2 for lunch. The food was surprisingly delicious, our elderly are quite picky eater but they enjoyed the food there, they even requested to order more, but the quality of the 1st dish and the 2nd dish was different (the pork of the 2nd dish mostly fat). We took 1 lunch and 2 breakfast here. Breakfast was OK, not so woah like our lunch but still OK, the buffet counter is small but still have quite range of foods. Shout out to Dien for her knowledge of the menu and recommendations, to Thuy for her welcoming and friendliness and Kinh Van for his professional as well as he is very handy, he prepared the tissue while we were having our lunch for the restaurant. After our lunch, this time we were welcomed by another Front office staff, Hai, she was really different from the first staff we met, she greeted us with a smile and very friendly. Beside of her, and the 1st staff we met, overall they were helpful but especially shout out to Vi, she was very helpful to us when we need help with some information, saw her treat another guests with a warm gesture. We were check in 3 rooms 1601,02,03. Both room were well cleaned and full of necessary amenities. But 2 rooms only had 2 pillows each while the another one had 4. We also shocked with the view from the room, even the window is small but still enough to enjoy the view of the Han River and can see Dragon Bridge from there. The bathroom is quite small but there is bathtub inside for those love to enjoy themselves in warm tube. Towels were well folded and arranged but after the 1 cleaning, the replacement towel seem very old, there were even few holes on it. That was the only minus of the room to us. Last place we visit was the Aroma Spa at level 19, we’re welcomed by Hang, the Spa reception, but she might be the head of the spa as well. We were gifted free herbal food bath and sauna which very enjoyable. The Spa therapists were skillful, we had a great time there. One extra thing to mention, when we checked out it was heavy rain, the bellman, but didn’t bring any umbrella for us, if only us, I could say no problem but then with elderly with us, we expected higher from them. To grab it up, even though this is 4 stars hotel but it was really impressed me with their service, staff are young but then still give a professional service. Strong odour: Request non-smoking room type while booking. But obviously the room smells so smokey. Told the staff about this, and they just said “we couldn’t control the last customer who may smoke” What?!!!! So the staff didn’t check the room quality before I check-in to this? I am not even allow to do early check-in.

Cleanliness is a worry: the linen and bathroom are clearly seen with dirts and gets mouldy…

Noise: No matter you live on 16/F. The noise from street is still so disturbing. Also noise from guest next room.

Honesty: It claims 4-star hotel on booking.com. But the service and environment are worse than any 3-star hotel in Japan!!! Everything was like so dirty!!!!

Services: The staff didn’t provide a proper room for me. The room for me is totally different from what I have booked on Agoda. Then, they lied to me “it’s free upgrade”. However, it’s a smaller room and smaller washroom. The room was even worse. What kind of upgrade is this???!!! Ridiculous! I insisted them to give me the original one. After that, I found the original room is really better and larger space than the one they so-called “upgrade” one…

Vibe: The smell of shampoo and shower gel smells like “GLUE”. Poor amenities never let people to feel relaxed! People go for comfort and vacation in Vietnam never feel comfort here!

The price may only justify to the location and convenience. Yay there’s many Spa and restaurants around. I go to Spa for hair washing during another night because the shampoo and shower gel here are...

I recently had the most incredible stay at Haian Riverfront in Vietnam and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile, which set the tone for the rest of my visit.

The location of the hotel is simply breathtaking, as it overlooks the magnificent Han River and offers a stunning view of the famous Golden Bridge. Waking up to such a picturesque sight every morning was a dream come true.

The staff at Haian Riverfront went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. They were attentive, accommodating, and always willing to assist with any request I had. Their genuine care and attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest.

One of the highlights of my stay was the spa experience. The treatments were divine, and I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised by the various discounts I received at the spa, making it even more enjoyable.

In addition, the lounge pub provided a great atmosphere to unwind after a long day of exploring. The discounts offered in the pub were an added bonus, allowing me to indulge in some delicious food and drinks while enjoying the company of fellow travelers.
