I am very disappointed with this cafe a minute ago. I am staying in the hotel, HAIAN Riverfront 23Dec-25Dec. They were setting up Xmas cookie counter. We asked them how much are the cookies. They said it’s FOC & will be served at 6.00pm. However the waiter & waitress were too busy taking photos of the cookies. No guests dare to take yet. However there is a Santa Claus guy taking for another table little girl. So we went ahead to take. Another couple behind us queuing. The waitress named DUNG immediately asked me in Vietnamese in a rude way. I don’t understand so I asked “Can you speak English?”. Then she immediately said “Did you order?” I was shocked. Why would I randomly just barge into the cafe to get free cookies? Best part is she was the one whom served us the coffee just now. I am taking the cookies for my daughter and not for myself. She immediately took over my plate give me that look - as if worried I am taking more? This is really an insult. I feel very offended and she is giving me the impression that I am some random local Vietnamese trying to take free food, by speaking to me in Vietnamese? Is this how you treat your tourist? I will not recommend to visit this cafe. The servers working there are not attentive, and do not look happy working there. No sense of customer service attitude. One last thing, my son fell in the cafe last night (yes hotel guests need to walk through the cafe as shortcut to the hotel lift to go up to rooms). Well, none of the service staff even came up to help. There was little guests last night. Even the group of Korean tourists were commenting why no one helped our boy up. Pls consider again to visit. Food/drinks are cheap, but service sucks. They don’t deserve even 1...
Read moreLocated at the intersection of Bach Dang and Tran Quoc Toan, beneath the Haian Hotel, this charming café offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a spacious layout and a view of the Dragon Bridge. The café's decor is meticulously curated and updated according to the seasons, making it a perfect spot for those seeking picturesque photo opportunities. With its prime location and ambiance, the prices are reasonable, comparable to those of Highlands Coffee. My favorite drinks here are the cocoa or egg coffee. On a previous visit, I also tried their trendy grilled milk tea from Yunnan, which was plentiful and reasonably priced at around 100k VND for a pot serving two people. Overall, it's a delightful café experience offering both aesthetic appeal and...
Read moreGreat location with a river view. Comfortable chairs for sitting outside. We stopped by early in the morning with a hope to get a Vietnamese drip coffee. We verified whether it is Vietnamese drip coffee, the staff said yes but she will filters before serving us . We sat down and the coffee was served in a jar in a cold temperature like it was taken out from the fridge . It has a coconut flavor. It is not what we wanted, it is not better than the instant black coffee. Not recommend if you want to have a good...
