My family really loved the vibes here at Đà Thành Quán. The spicy clams were a big hit, and both prawn dishes we ordered from the menu were really good, and the staff even peeled the skin for us so we didn’t have to. The staff work well together as a team, and it’s a fun energy and location close to the busy downtown streets. It also means that many peddlers will come stand at your table tho. Once we bought some fruit tho, the peddlers stopped coming when they saw fruit on our table, I would like it if staff showed more effort to deter them from walking right into the restaurant and act so persistent to stand over our table and not leave while I’m trying to eat with my family. This could be a way better place to remember and to recommend as the food is actually not bad BUT they just do treat you like a tourist. Make sure to double check with them what you eat and how many pieces they bring per plate before you make your order. They have pictures in the menu with 8 oysters or escalopes which can be distracting and actually looks attractive , however I got 6 on my plate. Then they charged +10% without any notice in advance. Very bad choice for going eating something.i came in 19 pm and food came 20pm...i order fish 1,3 kg... i got a plate with fish the head was still on it,the skin also.i also noticed that local people being served before foreigners..very noisy also. I think i got 100 grams of fish together.price 750000 dong!!! Oh i forgot ,i order 2 beers while waiting 1 hour while i was very hungry. I was very angry and asked after the boss. He excused but i am nothing with excuses... If you ask me ..a very big scam! Avoid this place if you can. Greetings...
