An awesome bakery and cafe to check out in Da Nang. An abundance of indoor and outdoor seating options to choose from. Amazing range on offer of both sweet and savoury pastries to suit all preferences. The chilled cakes and desserts were so beautifully crafted each and every one of them. It was fabulous being able to get right up close to the kitchen window to see the bakers in action. Staff offered to reheat the pastries if this was preferred. Ordered the: Cat tongue cookie = expected a scotch finger / shortbread buttery-style cookie instead, it was just like a plain vanilla cookie. Patechoux = least memorable pastry of the lot from what was ordered. The pastry was not flaky and the meat filling flavouring was mild. Almond cream croissant = yummy flaky pastry with crunchy sliced almonds on top and just the right amount of caster sugar to coat. The inside cream is not the typical almond meal custard. This one was very unique in it's own way (more like a creamy and nutty mousse). French Style Smoked Bacon croissant = this one was the winning pastry purchase and a definite must try. Generous fillings included within the croissant. I would definitely be repurchasing this one time and time again.
The cafe's drinks menu offered a variety of coffees, teas, frappes and juices at quite reasonable prices. Ordered the: Salted caramel coffee = very fragrant and delicious! Perfect balance in the salty, sweet, bitter and creamy department. Avocado coffee = quite dense and filling even as a drink. Think of it as a fusion between an avocado smoothie and a long...
Read moreProbably the place with the worst management in the whole of Vietnam. Every week, when someone adds bad reviews, they create a new place on Google (there are already three). All reviews are from the same day and with the same professional photos (probably not very realistic). I was here on the first day and then several times in the first three weeks: all croissants and other items are more than half the size after 3 weeks, the pain au chocolat is even 3 times smaller (it's so small that it's more like a mockery) they forgot my order several times almost every day everything is sold out and they only have empty shelves, sometimes they don't even have clean mugs. 4.Today their Valentine's special was really disgusting (in terms of taste) and by not even putting it in a mug (like in the pictures), it didn't look good visually either. Space: a beautiful place to work and because of it, we even found accommodation in this neighborhood. Unfortunately, it's a big mess, the air conditioning is too cold, and the music that screams louder every day completely ruins it.
I fell in love with this place on the first day, good food, nice and made for work. After three weeks, I'm here for the last time, the quality is going down every day and I don't see any improvement. It's a pity, this place has huge potential, just a shame about the probably...
Read moreLarge, open and modern atmosphere with plenty of seating both indoor under aircon and outdoor in the fresh air. Very popular and busy place, especially among the locals. Probably about 50-75 locals there and maybe 3 or so foreigners. They accept credit cards, including contactless tap and pay digital wallet payments via phone, without any annoying surcharges. That alone will keep me coming back! They offer a large variety of drinks and baked goods to choose from. I like that they offer oat milk as a non-dairy alternative for the coffee. It would be even better if they also offered almond, cashew, macadamia and walnut milk! They have a washroom with working toilets, bidets, and sinks with soap to wash hands. My oat milk latte was decent, and my pistacio roll was very good! I didn't like my bacon egg and cheese croissant because it wasn't warm (even though I had them heat it; the egg was still cold and the cheese didn't melt) and the bacon was not crispy at all so I ended up spitting most of it out since it was so chewy. I will be back soon to try their chocolate croissant. It takes a very long time to pay since they have so many customers and very few POS terminals. On my second round of ordering, I actually asked a staff member if I could eat first and pay later to avoid my coffee getting cold while waiting to pay, which they allowed me to...
