So while I was on holiday in Da Nang, I stumbled upon this Korean BBQ place called Golden Meat House, and wah, I must say—it really exceeded my expectations!
I didn’t make any reservation beforehand, so I was quite lucky they still had a table for walk-in.
Outside the restaurant, there was this big blackboard with a long list of names—all handwritten, some in Korean—so you can tell this place is quite popular, especially among Korean tourists.
I even saw they had VIP rooms upstairs for bigger groups. Got security guard standing outside somemore—felt very well managed.
The place is quite big, open concept style with full glass panels and some nice modern decorations.
It feels clean and comfortable, not stuffy or smoky like some BBQ places can be. When I was seated, the staff were super friendly and polite, kept smiling and greeting—even though the place was already quite packed.
They passed me the menu and also started bringing out all the banchan (side dishes)—free flow one! From kimchi to tofu to sauces... the variety was solid.
The menu was very extensive. They've got all the meats you can think of—beef, pork, chicken... you name it, they got it.
I went for the Wagyu beef (a bit more premium) and wow, no regrets. Super tender, melt-in-your-mouth kind. Best part? The staff will actually cook the meat for you at your table.
They’ll ask how you want it done, then grill, cut, and serve on a hotplate. All you need to do is just wrap it in cabbage and eat like the Koreans. Shiok.
Oh! And they also gave a complimentary steamed egg—free for every table. That was a really nice touch. Soft, fluffy and comforting, like the ones you get in proper Korean restaurants in Seoul.
The vibe here is great whether you come in a couple or with friends or family. If you come in a big group, better to book in advance. You can try calling or booking through their website.
The prices are not the cheapest, but honestly, I feel it’s quite reasonable considering the quality, service, and ambience. Totally worth it if you’re into Korean BBQ.
So if you’re around Da Nang, definitely give Golden Meat House a try. It’s near the beach along Tran Bach Dang, easy to find. Just don’t go too late without...

Read moreThe same couple I was talking to about marble mountain, also told me about golden meat house. They told me the food was fabulous and they were right. They have a large selection to choose from. I had the rosemary pork belly, a marinated meat, I think it was #91 and the egg in a black pot. Besides what i ordered, they also give you 2 kim chi vegetables, a salad, radish, sliced up onions that’s marinated in this sweet salty concoction. So so good. And something fermented that I wasn’t a fan. But I usually don’t like fermented stuff, I don’t like kimchi either. But I love some meat tho. The service was fast, the place was packed as well, with a reservation list when u walked in. They cook the meat for u, I get mine medium, after the meat is cooked it’s put in a dish next to you or I guess depending what it is, there’s a mushroom and pineapple on the stove as well. The meat is put on top of it so it stops cooking but stays warm. They also have a special going on with certain beef, buy 1 get 1 free! It ends at the end of the year, but also you need at least 2 people to get the special. So none for me 🥲 I went back for a second time, I was given different side than last time, which was fine by me. I was given I’d say like a cooked cold 🥔 And like a chilly...
