Summarize? 100/10 experience.
From the customer service (picking us up from the airport for free, opening the doors, carrying the luggage’s, friendly greetings, etc.), everything made us feel comfortable and cared for. There was even a welcome and parting complementary snacks! And for our conveniences, they helped store our luggages before and after we checked in so that we could comfortably explore the city.
Ambient: very clean and aesthetically pleasing decorations and interiors that felt like you could’ve been in a higher-end resort. Loved the color coordination and piano music playing in the background
Rooms: amazing, considering we were expecting a city view only but instead got a partial ocean view. Very happy with that as we got the best of both worlds (if u can ignore the big construction building in front lol) considering the price we paid for it. AND for how they always cleaned the rooms and restocked the toiletries, we were very appreciative. Lastly, there was even a vault that you could lock your stuff in, in case you need reassurance about storing your valuables somewhere.
Food Buffet: so freaking good, abundant and delicious food options that rotated each day. Various stations like bread, dessert, drinks, hot-fried fresh food, etc. I would’ve love to stay and eat alot more everyday but I would get full easily. But also to be transparent, I’m an easy going person and am okay with eating whatever as long as I have my basics. I didn’t pay close attention but maybe for vegetarians/vegans, there might not be alot of options compared to the meat filled dishes.
Location: although not 100% close to the beach, the distance was good enough (3-5 min walk) that going to the beach everyday would’ve been doable. Furthermore, there’s a lot of food, drinks, and convenience stores around that you can access them easily. And even for a “small” street, getting in and out by car or by foot was easy.
Amenities: never used anything besides the pool so can’t say much on the gym, spa, and rooftop bar, but the pool was absolutely divine. The view was gorgeous and the pool felt amazing (even on cold days). My only two concerns with the pool, however, was how there are limited sunbathing lounges and how sometimes the pool did seem a little dirty in the far end corner (green mysterious bubbles?). If you can ignore that and just enjoy the vibes since they play music too, it’s so worth it. DO remember to put on hella sunscreen bc this pool is high up and UV rays hit stronger (my poor sunburns)
Price: for everything described above, I was very content about the price of ~$45 per night. This level of care and quality is rare to see in America for that price, so I would gladly bring my family back later in the future. It might be a bit for the average Vietnamese but this location is def a hotel I’d say is worth splurging on.
My 2 suggestions are to have the pool open later as I would’ve love to see the city night life closer to midnight AND to make being able to screen mirror to the tv easier. Every TV was labeled the same thing so it was hard to decipher which tv belonged to our room so that we could connect.
Overall, my stay here was amazing and I truly hope to be back one day and experience the same quality I...
Read moreI had a wonderful stay at Sala Hotel. The location is excellent, right by the My Khe beach, with stunning sunrise and mountain views — truly great value for the price.
My room was comfortable overall, though the air conditioning didn’t feel very cold (possibly just my room), and the bathroom exhaust fan is centrally controlled rather than operating with the light. These are minor details, and didn’t affect my stay because the real highlight was the exceptional service.
The receptionist, PHUONG (Phoenix), was outstanding — incredibly friendly, approachable, and communicated clearly in English. Her genuine passion for her work made a remarkable difference to my stay. I’d also like to thank the other two ladies at reception (forgive me, I forgot your names!) — and in fact, the whole team, including housekeeping and the bellboys, were very professional and attentive. Staff like them are truly the heart of the company, and their dedication is what makes guests feel welcomed and valued.
A very special touch — it was both my friend’s and my birthday, and my friend had arranged a surprise for me. The team kindly prepared a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Before we left, they also offered us a refreshing drink in a glass bottle — absolutely delicious.
The lobby area waiting hall also featured a gorgeous orchid plant. It was beautifully maintained, and it’s clear the flower team put a lot of effort into taking care of it. Orchids are not easy to maintain like this, and it really added a touch of elegance and warmth to the hotel.
Our stay felt even more special because it coincided with their national day. The streets and surroundings had a lovely festive vibe with flags, and the hotel even offered us a small complimentary beer — a thoughtful and fun gesture. We truly felt blessed to experience this.
As a small encouragement, I think the breakfast team could bring a little more energy and cheer in the mornings — I know it’s early and not everyone is a morning person (myself included!), but a bit more brightness at the coffee, egg, or noodle stations would make the start of the day even better.
Overall, Sala Hotel offers excellent value, amazing service, and a team that truly makes the experience memorable.
May God bless PHUONG, the rest of the team, and everyone who contributes to making this hotel such a wonderful place — their passion, dedication, and thoughtfulness are...
Read moreA Wonderful Stay at Sala Danang Beach Hotel
My recent long stay at the Sala Danang Beach Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warm Vietnamese hospitality, making our stay truly memorable. Our 18th-floor partial sea view room offered breathtaking panoramic views, both during the day and at night. The views were simply stunning and added a touch of magic to our experience.
The hotel's attention to detail truly impressed us. The welcome fruit, wine, cake, and personalised handwritten note were a delightful surprise. The thoughtful gesture of a red envelope for Tet (Lunar New Year) and another thank you note on our departure, along with a small gift, were such sweet touches. Our room was a haven of comfort. The bed was firm and supportive, guaranteeing a good night's sleep, and the pillows were good. A wide selection of TV channels kept us entertained. While the option to connect an HDMI cable was appreciated, the Wi-Fi signal, unfortunately, wasn't strong enough for smooth streaming of services like YouTube and Netflix.
Breakfast was a good standard, with a wide variety of options to choose from. My advice would be to arrive early, as it does get busy. The swimming pool area is another gem, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere.
While the restaurant on the 25th floor boasts a gorgeous setting and incredible views, our dining experience there was a little disappointing. Although the staff were absolutely lovely, our lamb chops were served cold and tough, possibly due to the food being prepared on a different floor. Despite this, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit for drinks and to soak in the ambiance.
The spa at the Sala Danang is a must-visit. My first experience, a deep sports massage and coffee scrub, was wonderful. The staff are highly skilled and the spa itself is a tranquil and inviting space. My second treatment, a hot stone massage, was simply the best I've ever had – truly exceptional!
The hotel's location is also a major plus. It's conveniently close to the beach and other key areas, making it easy to explore Danang. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Sala Danang Beach Hotel. The combination of beautiful accommodations, attentive staff, and thoughtful touches made our stay truly unforgettable. Despite the minor issues with the Wi-Fi and restaurant, the positives far outweighed any negatives. I can't...
