We visited this restaurant about a month ago and had a great experience—delicious food and solid service. That’s why we chose to come back for a friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, this time was a major letdown.
The service was chaotic. The waitresses struggled to get our orders right unless we physically pointed to the menu. I understand there might be a language barrier, but the communication breakdown was frustrating. Around 8:55 p.m., they told us the special rolls would stop soon, so I quickly ordered a simple tuna roll and two maguro. After 20 minutes and three follow-ups, the order still hadn’t arrived. Only after speaking with a manager—or someone in charge—did they finally start making it.
To make things worse, my wife ordered soup at the beginning of the meal, and it didn’t show up until an hour later, after reminding them, and by then most of us were already finished eating.
The sushi on the buffet looked unappetizing this time, and I actually saw a small fly land on one of the trays. It felt like the younger staff was more focused on clocking out at 9:30 p.m. than providing good service.
We were really hoping for another great night, especially for a birthday, but this visit missed the mark in both service and...
Read moreWe sat downstairs and were offered bufet, which we odered. It was explained that upstairs in the bufet area all places were occupied. (I never saw many people leaving from there). If you sit downstairs there is no self service option. You will have to wait for everything. Be prepared that first dishes you order from bufet will arrive quickly. If you order something else - it will be too long to wait and needed to remind the staff. They will very friendly reply, but another 15-20 minutes will pass by. Looks like everything is done for the customer to refuse to wait. Quality of food is poor. Sushi have no taste. Fish doesn't look fresh.
The menu says that dishes can very from pictures, by there has to be a limit to it. I was still expecting a nice dinner and did not make picture of avocado salad. So I can only say it was far from the picture with a little bit of tiny avocado slices and lots of salad leaves.
P.S. Beware of reviews with perfect pictures. They are fake. Noones comes with camera set for dinner.
Look at the pictures of fruitplate in menu and fruitplate served. And at the ice cream in menu and the one served (in plastic pack!!) (( Icecream it was not even possible to open. We had to ask for help and we're provided with scissors 🙈 Do...
