I stayed in six hotels in Vietnam for a total of 18 nights and overall was very impressed with the hotels in Vietnam and quality of service; however the Pavillion Hotel is my single exception to this. Our booking confirmation for the Pavillion showed different ammenities than the rooms actually offered, so this was a little bit of a disappointment from the start. The hotel was also unable to honor their correspondence with us stating that they had given us a room on a high floor. This was just a request so I didnt expect this from them, except that in a correspondence before our stay they claimed that they had arranged it.
This hotel is in a very good location, steps away from the beach and on a street with many great restaurants. It is a long walk to the Dragon Bridge, but definitely possible to walk to many of the downtown attractions. The servers at breakfast were very helpful and kind, even staying after close without asking guests to hurry or telling them that they would close. The front desk staff were also helpful and arranged for us to rent a bike and also gave us great advice on free events in the city for New Years Eve, since the hotel was not hosting any events. The room service cleaning staff were also really good, and cleaned our room quickly every morning during breakfast.
The gym only has 2 machines, so do not expect to use it if you're traveling in a group, and I did not use the pool, because the weather was cold and rainy during our visit, so I have no advice on this, but the view from the pool is great. Everything else about this hotel is good except for the actual rooms. Our room had a problem with the plumbing that seemed to be known to the front desk. We couldn't use our toilet at all for one of our three days here and our entire floor smelled like sewage when we left the elevator. The staff apologized for the inconvenience, but we were asked to leave our room for hours during a period I would have normally been sleeping, and were not discounted from the room, or even given complimentary waters for our inconvenience.
This is the only hotel that we stayed which I will rate below a 4 star. All of the other hotels were so good, that I have trouble thinking of any negative at all. I even stayed at one other hotel in Da Nang and really regret spending any time at this hotel when there are so many other...
Read moreSharing my honest experience. I was travelling with two kids and wife’s This hotel has ok type rooms but pathetic and rude staff, especially the receptionist called Tru(lady). Their audacity is that they don’t even induct properly on checkout time and they purposely don’t remind customers about the same, so that they can make money .I had stay for two days and they never informed that i would check out on 3rd day before 12pm . So I had a morning trip to Bana hills ,about 7am and I left the hotel . After i left , they called our travel agent asking for checkout - when they knew I was unpacked and far away to Bana hills. My travel agent coordinated with the reception , asking for late check out -land had agreed for the same at 995vnd . Surprisingly after I reached hotel at 6pm , I rushed to packed by things and was in the reception at 7pm . This receptionist - Tru and Manager Miss Lee was so uncooperative and rude that they even changed their words and now kept forcing me that I need to pay full amount of 1995. I was ready to pay 995 but these people with their uncooperative behaviour kept peering me to pay the full amount and then they would allow me to leave . I even had got to situation where I wanted to call the police , but since I was getting late, I could not.
Worst ever experience. These people are loot , especially in an hospitality industry where your customers are your priority and behaviour, service is priority . These people have non of it .
I feel really cheated in the hotel In Vietnam . I never had such experience before with other hotel here but this was worst. I will never recommend any one to stay here, because they are loot and they finds ways to make money and extort customers. I have never come across such uncooperative and rude behaviour from an hotel. You guys don’t even put effort to understand customers, which is pathetic. Pavilion worst stay and feels...

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is perfect—central, convenient, and close to everything we needed. Every day we came back from our adventures to a spotless, well-kept room. Towels and essentials were always replaced, and everything felt fresh and cared for.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit.
✨ A special thank you to Thị Hậu, the kind and attentive waitress who served us at the breakfast buffet every morning. She always greeted us with a warm smile and remembered us each day. Her hospitality made our mornings feel personal and homey, and she made sure we always had what we needed. The buffet itself was delicious, with a great selection of fresh and local options.
💫 We also want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Hoàng Hà and Khánh Vy at the front desk. These two amazing receptionists were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. On our last day, when we were struggling to pack and needed tape and boxes, they went out of their way to help us find materials to secure our luggage. They even made sure we had a scale to check that all of our bags met Vietnam Airlines’ weight requirements. Their genuine kindness, patience, and beautiful energy made such a difference.
From check-in to check-out, we felt well taken care of and truly welcomed. The staff here are not only professional but also warm, friendly, and thoughtful—something that made our family feel right at home.
This hotel exceeded all expectations. Excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch staff, and a fantastic location.
🌟 Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be...
