The Sekong Apartment is quite nice in a fairly good position. I originally booked a studio but was offered to upgrade to an apartment for around $300 more. On arrival the queried the room as it looked to me like a studio. I was then informed that they only have studios. So what was the upgrade ?||The sea view is between two hotels and the sea is about 200 metres from the apartment. The balcony is about 1 metre wide.||The kitchen was basic. One frypan, one pot, one colander, one kettle, two small cups, four bowls, of different sizes, two forks, two spoons, no knifes, except one small caving knife.and a small fridge. The sink had only cold water.||The TV was reasonable except there were no local channels, Netfix was logged in and was in some foreign language that I couldn't change. The only channel usable was Utube.||The couch was reasonably comfortable except it smelt of all the sweaty bodies that have sat on it before, The beds were comfortable.||The bathroom was fine and had everything required.||The other problem was it was directly opposite the Temple that plays very loud doof Doof music every night. The good thing was it usually finished just after 10.00pm||The girls on reception were very nice and tried to help where they could. There was a bit of a problem with communication though.||The pool was nice on the roof , the only problem was that during the day when you want to use it it was to hot. There is no shade so you can't lay by the pool or you would fry.||There is a small gym, it has a fan but no aircon. I don't know why you would want a sauna or steam room in Vietnam.||I was therefor 4 weeks so we know the good the bad...

The apartment I had, "506," looked right into a wall of the building three feet away. There are no pictures on the Airbnb listing that show this or anywhere in the listing that says this. (The host noted there is, but that is not accurate.) I did message Airbnb and asked for their suggestion. The next day, the host sent a message (maybe an auto message) and asked about the apartment, and I sent a picture and said this was an issue. - No response about this issue until a day later (in the evening - night before check out).
They did say there will be work done on the building and a lot of noise (no worries, I get it)
On the third day, the issue I had was I wanted to do some laundry, but they were not in-unit, which is OK, so I found them, but they painted all day, and it smelled so bad (instant headache - Not all their fault, but with all the combine issues I was over this place)
I have requested a refund from Airbnb, and they are still waiting for a reply...
Read moreI stayed already in this residence, it was really nice for the price. Unfortunately this time I had a really bad experience when trying to book for 1 month. If you want to contact the owner he does answer… every two hour. While he takes his time to answer another guest book same room for 1 week during the month we wanted. What is his solution to this problem? Moving you 4 times in the same month. This man does not understand basic mathematics and customer relationship.
Sauna is good and hot, pool is okay with good view, gym is terrible. There is a parking for your motorbike and elevator.
If you can book it it’s a reasonable apartment for the price.
