We came to this place to smoke hookah after reading the positive reviews — but it turned out to be the worst hookah experience of my life. After just two puffs, it was clear there was almost no nicotine at all. The guy showed us a photo of Dark Side tobacco and started arguing aggressively, insisting that we didn’t understand anything and that the hookah was great — and that we still had to pay.
While smoking, water kept getting into the hose — a lot of it. We told the staff they needed to fix it, but instead they just brought us a glass of water. In the end, we had to keep pouring the water out of the hose ourselves every few minutes.
The staff didn’t speak any English, the hookah was terrible, and there were only about five flavors to choose from. It really feels like all the good reviews are fake. The couches were extremely uncomfortable, and the music was blasting so loudly that we couldn’t even talk.
The owner should be ashamed of running a place like this. Totally...
Read moreIt's one of the most expensive beach bars along the beach front. We came here as it was the closest to our Airbnb and we had to wait an hour before our statement was ready for check in. We didn't know this was a club at night, and it seems they charge the same price as day long. We ordered 4 drinks and a portion of chips for our boy, the bill came to 550k VND. I've only given 2 stars, one for service and the other for the view. But avoid this place unless you're here for clubbing in the evening. Some examples, a fresh coconut costs 100k here, it's 25k locally. A bottle of beer costs 120k, it's under 20k locally. If that wasn't bad enough, they don't stock any local Vietnamese beers... A bar in Vietnam that doesn't have any Vietnamese beer? It's absurd. There are plenty of great places in My Khe or My An beach areas, with drinks at less than...
Read moreOrdered carbonara, got bolognese instead. Told the waiter it was wrong, but he kept making excuses and even told me to taste it because it was “the correct order.” Had to push him four times before he finally went to check.
Surprise, I was right—the kitchen messed up. But instead of fixing it properly, he asked me to just eat the bolognese because if they remake the dish, they have to pay for their mistake. How is that my problem? I ordered correctly, the kitchen got it wrong, and now I’m supposed to take the hit? No way.
And just to be clear, there was no language barrier—I’m Vietnamese, and I was speaking Vietnamese with him. This was pure bad service, not a misunderstanding. Won’t be...
