We booked a room at the hotel Hahn Hoa for our night on Cat Ba Island. As for Vietnamese standard, 30$ is pretty much we expected a middle-class hotel. |When we arrived nobody at the reception except for a little boy. After 20 minutes a women arrived. She showed us the room and it was not clean at all! Dirty bed sheets, hairs everywhere and ants over the floor. And definitely not like on the pictures. Untrustworthy hotel! I booked a room 2 weeks before my arrival and at the time the price was on promotion (via agoda) and also there were lots of other hotels for me to choose. Today, which is 2 days before my arrival, i got a message from this hotel says they can not arrange my room and ask me to cancel.
