Worst massage experience and such a scam. Read the reviews before going. ||||We walked in with 3 people to get 45 minute full body massages and they laid us on the beds straight away. They started on me while the others laid there waiting for a long time and then finally started on the second person after 20 minutes. 25 minutes in they told me the massage was finished (1 person was only 5 minutes in and the other hadn’t even been started on). They kept insisting it was a full 45 minutes even though it clearly wasn’t (according to the time lol) so I left and only paid for a half hour. At that point the person who hadn’t been started on decided to leave also, which was the right decision because the other person who had started right before I finished stayed and her massage ended up being only 25 minutes AND they stopped it half way through to make her move into my recently used dirty massage bed (no clue why). So would not recommend if you want a relaxing environment or want to enjoy a massage for the time you pay for.||||Also all of their google listing reviews seem fake with the same people posting times (and all 20 reviews have been posted in the last 2 days)…. AVOID...

Stayed in their top top floor with sea view at 250k a night. This has been the best views from a stay I've had at this price. You can see the amazing bay. The location is near everything. The owner is nice. Helps with booking tours and services.

Cons: the room I stayed in was the uppermost floor. There isn't any elevator. All manual labor. I didn't mind this too much as it was great exercise but just to let you know. bathroom is old and basic but still gets you everything you need. We also used their laundry service and I lost one of my favourite shirts here. I hope it finds a new home and a kind owner.

Amazing hotel! The room facilities are basic but have everything you need (air con, hot shower, comfortable bed, fridge, TV, good WiFi...) - combined with a great location and amazing views. They also offer motorbike rental, laundry, tours and transfers, manicures and pedicures and massage! There is a cafe downstairs with good breakfast options, coffee and the best smoothies that Cat Ba has to offer!

But what makes this hotel so special are the owners - genuine, kind and extremely helpful - they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I've stayed here for several months over the past few years for work on Cat Ba, and would never consider looking anywhere else.
