The previous day I ate at a restaurant about a block away that was highly rated and left a little underwhelmed.

Thank goodness I passed this place and decided to check it out the next day. Amazing food! People were so friendly. I asked for my mantis shrimp to be spicy as I feel that a lot of places held back on the chili's, but boy did this place deliver.

Wife asked for her ribs to be a little spicy, not as much as I was asking for and they nailed that too.

My group was only in Cát Bà for a day, but after a long day of exploring caves and going on hikes, we were definitely pretty hungry. We decided to go to Thảo Minh and when we got there, Thương, helped us narrow down on not wasting our money and food on another dish when the one we decided on had a lot. That was a great choice considering we didn't finish through the entire plate of assortments for the soup. The food was served separately. My boyfriend received his food first while mine took a little while. The pictures from the menu doesn't correspond to the foods.
