Fusion Villa — Hotel in Hội An

I am a solo female traveller who has been travelling through south east Asia; I had a flight booked for 9pm from Hanoi to Danang yesterday. After browsing Booking.com around 4pm I booked a night at Fusion Villa as it had a 24 hour check in. This was very important to me as I would be arriving at 10:30pm in Danang. ||||At 8:30pm after connecting to the internet at the airport I checked my emails to find 2 from Fusion Villas. The first asking what time I would check in and shortly afterwards an email saying that they had given my room away to someone else and were now fully booked. ||This came as a shock to me and exacerbated my anxiety they offered to book a hotel near by but I did not believe they were competent enough to do this. I therefore had to frantically find alternative accommodation that offered a 24 hour check whilst I was boarding my plane. ||||I felt stressed, anxious and that my safety had been compromised. ||||What is more incredulous is that they are so dishonest as to declare that I was a no show when in fact it was they that cancelled my booking. This is clearly a business that cares only for making money and has shown a complete disregard for its duty of care to its customers.||||Avoid this place...

Our stay at Fusion was a very good experience thanks to the staff. The two ladies on reception during our two night stay were brilliant - extremely helpful and accommodating and had very good English. Yes the place does not look as good as the photos, but our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful (once the water heater was on for a short while first). We did not want to use pool or outdoor facilities so can't comment.||||Our breakfast was lovely and made fresh. One breakfast was provided very early for us due an early tour start. Not match advertising description. Really not understand how they can receive high score from previous guest? Where they paid for good reviews? Walls have water or funghi inside. Ants on the table. Not enough curtains/blinds to darken the room for sleeping. Airco not proper maintained (after 1 hour and on 18C) still not comfortable cool. Staff stubborn.|Swimming pool is small, maybe only 5 m and very dirty (again no maintenance).|For sure not worth the money ($25/VND 495,000).
