During our trip to Hoi An, we had the pleasure of staying at Na Man Mama Villa, and I must say, this was one of the most charming and memorable hotels we stayed at in Vietnam!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by Lisa, the owner. She is truly a wonderful host—friendly, helpful, and always ready to share the best recommendations for exploring Hoi An. Even though the check-in time was officially 2:00 PM, Lisa was thoughtful enough to let us check in early at 1:30 PM, which was a great convenience.

A Quick Travel Tip: In Vietnam, hotel check-in times are usually between 2:00 - 3:00 PM, so I highly recommend planning your travel accordingly to avoid long waits!

The hotel itself is fantastic—super clean, cozy, and incredibly affordable for the quality it offers. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, making our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect—you can easily walk to the city center or borrow one of the hotel’s free bicycles for a fun ride around Hoi An.

If you prefer motorbikes, the reception arranges a rental service for just 150,000 VND for 24 hours, which is an absolute steal! The hotel also provides a convenient airport pick-up and drop-off service from Da Nang Airport. Just inform them in advance, and they’ll arrange it for you at a reasonable price of 250,000 - 300,000 VND, depending on the car.

The accommodations communication before we arrived was exceptional, offering any support or advice we needed in preparation for our stay. On arrival, we met the lovely Lisa, who greeted us with a warm welcome, a cold drinkl sat with us to explain the area, giving is useful hints and tips, it was clear she wanted us to have a good experience. The room was great, we didn't realise you could.leave the fans and aircon on whilst out ( not a done thing in uk) but we were encouraged to after they cleaned room and noticed, they were worried about us being to hot after a day/night out. Good fridge Clean linen Aircon and fans, great! Big comfortable bed. It is clean and tidy, and it is a good condition for its age now. Breakfast was outstanding, with lots of options to order, with additional items buffet style each morning We loved our stay, have to say much of the old town wasnt for us, but being here was a perfect location to see what we wanted (heritage wise) but also explore more local to the accommodation which I would highly recommend, we found so many lovely places local to eat/drink Highly recommend borrowing bikes (you can also hire scooters), exploring local, the rice fields, even down to beach. Had the best day cycling the rice fields GRABS are cheap to get around, but check with staff at the desk as depending on where you are going, they may get you a car cheaper. Our trip from hotel to train station Da Nang was much cheaper with the hotel.

Can't thank the staff enough they were so warm and welcoming. They really seemed to genuinely care about us.

However, the real star of our experience was Mui, the manager and front desk receptionist. She is a powerhouse of kindness and efficiency, and she effortlessly made our time in Hoi An the easiest and most brilliant it could have been. Mui went the additional mile for everything we needed. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering perfect local recommendations, or simply brightening our day with her genuine smile, she anticipated our needs and took every step to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We absolutely loved interacting with her. She gave us all the attention and care we could possibly hope for, turning a great stay into an unforgettable one.
