Heliport Hostel — Hotel in Hội An

Don't book breakfast here, if you want to leave the hostel in the very morning. Actually this hostel is really good until you pay for breakfast. I will not describe that they wanted more money for my stay, because they made a mistake in the system, it doesn't matter, but breakfast service is rubbish!

They serve breakfast from 8am, the same as all tours. When I paid for my tour to "My Son" and for breakfast he said I must select tour or breakfast. They didn't want to refund money for breakfast, because "it's in the system and we paid tax on it." I found a solution, that my lady will collect breakfast for me and they said "yes yes yes", but when she came to them to ask them about my breakfast, they said "No, it's too hot and it's gonna be waste until he back" "We don't trust you, we are not sure if you collect for him". In the end I come back at 2 pm and ask them to refund the money or I will report everything to the booking, The guy was so grumpy, but decided to give me breakfast.

If all of the tours start at 8am, why can't you serve...

This was a nightmare hostel, wish we never booked it. We had to book somewhere else and leave after arriving and seeing this place because it was that bad, unfortunately. Was expecting good vibes from the photos but when we showed up it was really eerie, empty and next to a building site. It also stank really bad throughout. The service was good, but as soon as we were shown our room it was clear it had not been cleaned. The toilet was filthy, the toilet roll was damp, there were cobwebs. The sheets had stains on them that smudged when we touched them (??!) and we’re also pretty sure we saw fleas hopping around. After complaining, staff were quick to change the sheets but honestly the cleanliness of the entire place was questionable. Not to mention the security- our room lock was the same as a little lock you’d get on a bathroom cubicle and it didn’t feel safe at all. You had to walk down a dark alleyway to get to the hostel. Also, the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work, so the door just didn’t close. Wouldn’t recommend this...

I highly recommend this hostel, having given it a well-deserved 5-star rating. It offers excellent value for money, with affordable rates for dormitory accommodation, and the option to pay extra for a private room if desired. Its location in Hoi An is perfect, right on the tip of Old town away from the noise, and the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere is felt by all guests. The garden and pool area provide a natural, peaceful setting which is secluded well.

The ambiance is perfect for unwinding, with soft lighting in the evening creating a tranquil environment. There's a strong sense of respect among guests – while the vibe is fun, quiet hours around 10-11 PM are not a rule but an observed culture, that jus exists to ensure everyone gets a restful night's sleep. The staff are exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist guests and showing a genuine passion for their work.

This hostel is a great place to meet new people and make lasting memories. I would definitely recommend it for ages 18-55 (Haha Dean)...
