Really lovely welcome from the receptionist from the moment we walked in. All the staff worked very hard to make our stay a special one. We were able to check in early, which was super nice. The staff gave great tips about Hoi An, provided a helpful map, booked our tickets for the Memories show at a discounted price (HIGHLY recommend Memory Land!), cooked our omelets made to order at breakfast, and the woman at the coffee station at breakfast was genuinely interested in asking if our room was ok and we were happy with everything. Breakfast included coffee, tea, and juices, egg/omelet station, toasts and jams, fruit, bacon/sausage, and a variety of vegetables and soup (pumpkin one day and potato the next). The lush greenery and the lanterns around the pool made for such a lovely, relaxing environment and my pictures do not do it justice. The hotel location is great, as it’s only 10-15 to the Old Town and Japanese bridge. There’s a great coffee shop right across the street (Tron Hoi An). The coconut coffee was fantastic.
If my review only included the service of the hotel staff it would be a 5 star. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are dated - but the value for the cost is still great and the staff couldn’t be better.
*Note - we didn’t see it written anywhere, but the water and beer in the minibar are not complimentary, Just FYI.

Read moreThis hotel was one of our favorites of our month-long trip. It's within easy walking-distance of Old Town, but is removed from the crowds so it feels very peaceful. It's a family run hotel, and at the front desk you'll probably be greeted by Thi, who is super kind and helpful (and speaks great English, if that's a language you need). We stayed in rooms on the 1st floor above the ground floor (so 2nd floor if you're from the US) and that was perfect because it meant that we had a beautiful view down into the garden where the pool is, but weren't right next to the pool. The garden is lantern-lit at night, and shaded by a lush old mango tree during the day. One day it dropped a mango at our feet - best mango ever. The pool is beautiful, and a good size, and very very clean. We ate made-to-order breakfasts every morning beside it. The food was great! I loved the salads and fruit plates, and one morning we had pancakes. Wonderful coffee!! The rooms were lovely - very clean, lovely woodwork, romantic tub, and breezy private balconies. It was really a pleasure to come home...
Read moreI had a wonderful stay here, mostly due to the absolutely amazing staff, particularly Yim. As soon as I arrived I was given a drink and a map of the town as well as a list of restaurant suggestions and brochures for potential tour activities. Yim not only recommended a great local tailor for me but also gave me honest feedback about a few other recommendations I’d received.
When I mentioned on my second day that the WiFi in my room wasn’t that great, she had a staff member almost immediately sent up to install a device to boost it. And when I asked where I could buy a large quality poncho, Yim said she would GO TO THE LOCAL MARKET THE NEXT MORNING AND BUY ONE FOR ME AND HAVE IT READY BY THE TIME I ATE BREAKFAST!!! Absolutely incredible.
The room itself was comfortable and spacious, the location is extremely convenient, and the backyard is very scenic, though I didn’t get the chance to use the pool. If I ever get the chance to return to Hoi An I wouldn’t stay...
