I bought a dress from this shop and, first of all, the final result was absolutely beautiful – exactly how I imagined it. It fit perfectly after all the adjustments, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the timing and communication issues. I was told the dress would be ready by 7 PM the next day, and I made it very clear that I was flying out the following morning – so there was only one full day to finish it. They agreed to it.

At 7 PM, they told me to come at 9 PM instead because the seamstress was too busy. I understood and agreed. But when I arrived at 9, they said it would be ready at 10 PM. That was frustrating, especially since the dress still wasn’t finished – the zipper didn’t work, and a few other details were missing or not as I had asked.

They apologized, and I asked for a discount because I had to reschedule my flight. I ended up coming back the next day, and this time the dress was absolutely perfect – it fit wonderfully and looked amazing.

In summary: the staff was very kind (although communication was a bit difficult due to the language barrier), and the dress itself was truly stunning in the end. I just wish they had been upfront earlier about the delay. But overall, I’m satisfied and would still...

Don’t go there. I am so sorry to say that but I can’t recommend this tailor. The women are very friendly and are trying their best in speaking English and doing their job that’s why they get one star. The quality of the material is fine but the sewing is awful. Also the fitting is so time consuming. I had to go at least four times and it still wasn’t perfect. I wanted a jumpsuit in satin. They measured me nicely and I had the first fitting one day later. I didn’t like a lot of things some of them they understood some they didn’t. A nice thing was that they added pockets after my request. We agreed on the hight of the sipper at the second white line and they sewed it at the first one. The sewing Line was wavy and not nice. The sipper was loose and not cut off at the end. They fixed it but then the sipper was sewed even higher so I didn’t even fit into the jumpsuit anymore. They fixed it last minute. So in general you see it is not a place I would go again. And it costed me 1.800.000 VND. Too...

I could not recommend more. This tailor is, for me, the most amazing one you will find in Hoi An in terms of quality and skill. The customer service was great, they were patient with my demands and even let me draw my design so that they could replicate what I had in mind… my demand was quite special as I wanted trousers with a different style from which they are used to make (2 other tailors had already told me they would not be able to replicate this style), but when It came to the tailors here, they were confident in making me my dream pants. The result is everything I had hoped for, my exceptions were high, yet somehow they managed to exceed them. I got myself a top as well since I was happy with the pants. Both of them cost me around 130 dollars (80 dollars for the pants which is resonable and 50 for the top which is a little bit pricey but completely understandable because of the skill and detail to attention behind the making).
