After a 9 hour bike ride i was exhausted. Ufortunately this lead to a forgettable mistake on my part. |After arriving at 1130 pm that night i unfortunately left my wallet at reception. |I discovered this after the hostels son knocked on my door to inform me that my wallet was at my door. my wallet certainly wasnt there 15 minutes prior as i had walked passed. I figured someone had found it and placed it outside my door in the meantime. |The only 2 people that new i was staying in this room was security and the older gentlemen who owns the hotel. |I found it strange that my wallet was placed outside my door rather than handed to me. |But it all made sense as the person who placed it at my door also wished to remain annonymous as they also helped themselves to my last 25usd. |When i confronted the owner about the situation he told me he doesnt speak english which i found strange as we were conversing about my days travel only 1 hour prior.|In my mind i gave him the benefit of the doubt aprehensively. The security guard wouldnt make eye contact with me though as opposed to earlier on arrival where i was greeted in a friendly manner. Not sure who took the money but security and the owner were the only two people that new to place my wallet at my door. Dont like to implicate both men but one of them or both of them thieved the money from my wallet.|Apart from that experience the...

I was able to choose from a wide range of choice from the menu from the breakfast that was included.||When leaving, the owner even gave me a bottle of iced water for the hot...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I spent 3 nights at the Hi Hop Yen Homestay and we had a great experience! The family that runs the homestay are so sweet and kind. They offer free breakfast which was lovely. We started our days with a big fresh fruit plate, so yummy! The rooms were clean and well-kept. Great location, located in between Old Quarter and the beach so we felt close to everything. We rented motorbikes everyday for 100k and also booked our bus to Da Lat with them. Every transaction was smooth and we were pleased with the ease of booking. We loved our stay and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, peaceful...
