Im sorry to have to leave this type of review. Honestly, we did not have a good experience. We had a room on the ground floor, next to the lobby. Room was moist, damp and smelly, even with AC. Walls damaged, and attempted fixed with tape. Generally the room was equipped with only the absolute bare minimum. There once was a TV, which was removed, but the mounting still on the wall. The room only had a main light, no small bed side lamp, so either full light, or none. Stools and table in the front porche were very dirty, so i had to clean them in order to be able to use them. Available bicycles are not free, 30k VND anday. Ventilation in the bathroom was broken. When noted about it, the lady of the staff said "yes we know". I asked her when it could be fixed, and she actually arranged it to be repaired the following day. That was great. However, the repairmen left quite some black dirt on the toilet, without cleaning. Bathroom was smelly also.
Good things to say: Location is quite all right, with only a short walk to old town. It is quiet during the evening and night, so leep...
Read moreCould be a cheap room option for one night stay. However, if you need a room for long stay or workation, look for others.
No desk and chair in the room. You may think you can use 2 small chairs in the photo but one of them is broken in the room they gave me. You also might think you can use the chairs and table in the balcony. But they are so dirty you don't want to put any of your belongings on the table. If it's on ground floor, that's even worse. No privacy if you don't use the curtain whole day.
There's laundry service but I don't recommend it to you. It's not dried when I collected it. After drying them myself, I found some dirt on one of my laundry item which was easily removed when I scrub it with my finger. Don't know what kind of laundry service is this. So, I took it to another laundry service.
And there's no smart TV in the room. However, it could be a great option if you want to save money and no need for desk and watching Youtube...
Read moreWe stayed at Mi Kha Homestay for 3 night. They always replied to our emails promptly when we had questions or wanted to arrange for an airport transfer. ||||It was our first time staying at a homestay and everything was beyond our expectation. We had a twin room and the beds were so comfy, especially for Vietnamese standards! We booked an eco village tour with them and it was all arranged nicely. The owners and staff were really friendly, always checking on us making sure everything's okay. ||We also rented a scooter from them one day. There were some times we couldn't start the engine but it was okay after a few tries.||||For 15usd a night you can't get anything better than this! They even offered free bikes for you to ride to the old town which was only a few minutes away. Being on the bicycle was the best way to see the town! Can be quite hot at times but it's...
