Hoi An Riverlight — Hotel in Hội An

We have been to Viet Nam several tmes but this is our first visit to Hoi An.  In searching for accommodation, I stumbled upon Riverlight, it seemed a good balance of price/quality/location.  I'm so glad we chose it as it exceeded expectations!  Location is excellent, right in the river & just 5 minutes walk from the historic Old Town.  This has the additional advantage of being out of range of some of the late opening nightt clubs, nice & quiet.|The room is great, clean & tidy with good a/c, comfortable bed, & clean bathroom.  Nice little balcony overlooking the river too.  |But the best thing is the owner, Miss Hanh.  Fantastic communication, nothing too much trouble.  We needed to change our booking & she sorted that out with Agoda when they couldn't.  We booked Coconut Forest excursion & car back to Da Nang through her too.|Riverlight is a small place but it was perfect for us. Very good price–quality balance. The room is clean, comfortable, and has a balcony that feels almost like sitting by the Thames — calm, soft air, reflections on the water. It’s a quiet space, maybe a little sleepy these days, but still alive with warmth.

The owner is absolutely wonderful — kind, open, and caring.
