Lantana Boutique Hotel is walking distance to the Old Town and by the river which kept things nice and cool. It was nice and quiet at night.

Moreover the staff at Lantana Riverside is outstanding!!! They were always there ready to assist with anything you might need. Many of them are now considered friends and we look forward to seeing them again. The spa services we got were really nice!

A team must always have a great leader and Lisa, the Front of House Manager personifies that! She too went out of her way to make our stay the absolute best! One thing that I loved was that she would book and arrange anything that we needed saving us time and effort doing it ourselves! The prices she got us were always reasonable and fair. Tipping is not essential or expected but graciously accepted if you insist on giving one 😎. I would also like to mention Vietnam as a whole is VERY SAFE for travellers! We found ourselves walking around at night with zero concerns! Vendors, restaurant owners etc will offer their place of business to you, and happily accept the polite “no thanks” given rather continue to berate or hassle you like other countries we have travelled.

To be completely honest the only minor area of improvement would be upgrading their locks. I believe the hotel has plans for an electronic lock installation in the near future. They have individual keys which do offer plenty of security but we and hotel management agree it is time to step it up in the near future when they are not so busy.

We look forward to our return to beautiful Hỏi An and the Lantana Boutique Hotel hopefully next year!

Other highlights of Hỏi An… the restaurant next door (The Boat) has a Passion Chicken dish which is amazing, the many incredible tailors, the Hỏi An Memories show (if rude people can be stopped by filming during the show with their phones), the Bahn Mi Queen.. I could go on and on…

Lantana Boutique Hotel is a five star hotel with a 10 star staff! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC worked great, which is important in Vietnam's hot climate. The WIFI also worked great. The location was perfect! It was within easy walking distance to the historic district, where there are lots of shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the festivities around the river every night that you weren't bothered by the crowds or noise. They have motorbikes and bicycles that you can rent at a very cheap price. We rented a motorbike for $8 for 24 hours. We wanted to have clothes made while we were in Hoi An, and they suggested Yaly's Couture. That was a very good suggestion! I also highly recommend Yaly's if you are looking for a good tailor. There is outdoor porch seating where you can enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset.

The real gem of the Lantana Boutique Hotel is the staff! They were all gracious, kind, helpful and fun! By the time we left, we felt like we had made new friends. It was very obvious that their primary focus is on making their guests feel welcomed and comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about the Lantana Boutique Hotel. Staying there made our time in Hoi An so much better. I encourage you to book your stay with them. You can enjoy Hoi An all day and come home to a quiet, comfortable, friendly hotel at night.

Nice hotel. Excellent location. Room with balcony facing the river. Friendly staff, neat, tidy and clean. Thanks to the staff Sally, Yumi, Rosie, Jenny, Maria, Emma, Susan etc.. Spa girls worked so hard on our backs. Stayed a total of 6 days. Would have extended for another week if we had the chance. The people were not intrusive and has a very consistent approach to customer service. From the reception, house keeping, the young boys with the bicycles, bar tender, cooks. Smile always comes first. Sometimes fumble a bit, pat them on the back, get the footing right and they perform flawlessly exceeding your expectations. An uncanny ability to self heal and improve. In my 28yrs of F&B, retail operations, this is one of the very few times establishments achieve a service status of "legendary". An experience that you want to share with the world and keep coming back. A small limited establishment and a young team of staff. They achieve most organisation can only dream off. The imperfections becomes minor. Providing constructive feedback to the management so that you'd want to see and continuestly encourage for the best that this team can bring about. In which they are more than capable in my personal opinion. Private swimming pool for the kids, hop on to a shuttle to the beach, ride a bicycle around town all fuss free. With all the amenities provided and the staffs magical touch, the stay experience quickly went from being good to great. I hope you see...
