Fullhouse Villa 2 is a great spot. They have free bikes and an amazing breakfast, plus the owner and his wife, Li and Hana, are the sweetest couple. I think it's like 500K a night for a big room which had two beds for me and my friend.... book directly since it costs more through rental websites. The customer service is outstanding, the place is extraordinarily clean, and they have a wonderful shared kitchen and lovely pool! They will go out of their way to help you with anything you need from postal services where they come to pickup at the hotel, arranging bus pickups and booking, private taxis, food recommendations, activities, and even petrol if you run out while in your motorbike! It's close to old town for all the services and shops, but also fast enough away to get some real peace and quiet. If you're lucky, then be cooking home-made Cao Lao that you can purchase freshly made! I could not recommend this hotel anymore and will definitely come back to see them when I...
Read moreWe stayed here for 8 nights and I would highly recommend it. Li was a great host and the place had a very family feel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the best we have had in Vietnam. The location was excellent, halfway between the beach and the old town. We stayed in the family room which was spacious and had 2 huge double beds. Be aware that this room doesn't have a balcony in the room, it's in the corridor outside. This actually worked out well for us because when the kids slept we had somewhere to sit out of the room and also the room was quite dark in the mornings so kids woke up late. It worked for us anyway. There are lots of accommodation options in Hoi An and I saw quite a few places so know that you can get a bigger pool and a better view but for us it's the people who make it and Li was great. He even made us sandwiches for the airport when we left! Oh and if you do stay there here there are lots of local food street stalls within walking distance which are...
Read moreThis was a lovely looking place, and the staff were very nice and friendly and looked after us well. We were transferred to this place because there was some sort of problem with the place we had originally booked. We had two rooms on the second floor, one with a wee balcony overlooking the street. The rooms were great, clean and well maintained. The problem for us was the noise. To an extent, this is something they just can't control. One afternoon and night there was very loud karaoke from a bar nearby - so loud we might as well have been in the bar ourselves. The next night, it was the same, only in the other direction. This is coupled with the open stairwell, wooden flooring and tiling which makes any movement/conversation from guests travel straight up to the room. You hear all the action in the foyer and room next door. All was quiet by midnight, but just something to consider if you need an early night or you are not a...
