If you are looking for some traditional Vietnamese food with decent seating, air-conditioned environment and cleanly look plus most important delicious food then here is the place. Located in a quite center street, always very crowded at lunchtime, this place has a lot to offer. A lot of attention to details such as you can choose between Southern style sauce or Northern style sauce for your rice noodles and Vietnamese style BBQ pork (the key difference is the southern style one has a subtle touch of sugar to soften the taste of fish sauce while the northern style are not). Sign written explaining that once you order the kitchen start to prepare your order so your patience is highly appreciated if you want a fresh smoking hot crispy spring roll. The mini pot with a small portion of burning charcoal underneath to keep your Vietnamese style BBQ pork warm till it reach your table and still warm while you eating until the last bite. The only minor downside in my opinion is if you were there at a busy time you wouldn't see a warm welcome attitude from staffs but I would say it's understandable and minor since it's super crowded and the quality of food beats this tiny setback. Thus I definitely recommend that you come and enjoy the food here.

Quan Nem, located on bustling Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, is a great option for satisfying your nem cua be (spring rolls made with sea crab) cravings in District 1. The restaurant boasts a casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick and delicious bite. I started with their signature nem cua be, which lived up to the hype. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with fresh, flavorful crabmeat inside. The accompanying dipping sauce was a nice blend of sweet, sour, and spicy, complementing the nem perfectly. However, while the nem was the star of the show, other aspects of the dining experience could be improved. The menu is limited, focusing mainly on nem and bun cha (grilled pork with noodles). If you're looking for a wider variety of Vietnamese dishes, you might want to consider other options. Additionally, the seating is basic and can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, Quan Nem is a solid choice for a quick and tasty nem fix. However, if you're looking for a more extensive menu or a more refined dining experience, you might want to explore other restaurants in District 1.

I had an amazing experience at QUAN NEM in Saigon! Their authentic Crab Spring Roll with rice vermicelli was simply incredible – crispy on the outside, packed with flavorful crab filling, and perfectly paired with fresh vermicelli. It’s hands down one of the best spring rolls I’ve had! The BBQ pork was another standout dish. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor. Every bite was a delight, and it showed how much care goes into their cooking. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Despite the high quality of food, the prices are very pocket-friendly, offering great value for money. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Saigon, QUAN NEM is a must-visit. Delicious food, welcoming staff, and affordable prices – I can’t recommend it enough!

this place is super popular amongst the locals! serving up two of vietnams northern dishes that everyone needs to try! they specialise in Nem Cua Be so make sure to at least grab a serving of this when u come! (i got the Bun Cha and will try the NCB another day haha) id say avoid peak hour at all cost because there will be a decent wait time! it took me about 20mins to be seated (and i went solo) and another 15mins for the food to come out make sure that you seek the waiter to grab a number to join the queue! the waiter will also grab ur order early too! overall the food was good and the service was a tad slow, however they were battling the horde of customers coming through! i will def check back here again to try their specialty, the Nem Cua Be!

Quan Nem provided an excellent dining experience that was hard to forget. The restaurant has clearly put a lot of thought into the design and atmosphere, creating an ambience that was a delightful fusion of modern and traditional aesthetics. The crown jewel of the menu had to be the crab spring rolls. Each piece was a heavenly bite of crispy exterior giving way to a succulent filling of crab meat, the flavors perfectly balanced and undeniably delicious. However, there was a slight hiccup with the accompanying vegetables with Bun Cha. They bore an uncharacteristic fishy smell that suggested they were not as fresh as one would hope. Although it didn't entirely overshadow the overall dining experience, it did put a bit of a damper on the meal.

If you love Northern Vietnamese food then you can't go past Quan Nem. Always delicious bun cha and the nem cua (crab spring rolls) are exceptional. The nem is super crispy and light, the crab filling is generous and mouthwateringly delicious. All the nem are cooked fresh to order and the wait can be a little long if the restaurant is busy. The bun (rice noodles) are light fluffy and like biting into super soft clouds. Absolutely cannot get enough of this, the only problem is deciding how many of the Nem you can eat in one sitting. Back again now in August 2024 and still as delicious as ever. Piping hot fresh nem cua and my mouth is watering
