These people don’t seem to think about their service or what they’re doing at all. There were no laundry bags in the room, so I brought my clothes to the reception to ask where I could have them washed. The receptionist told me she would take care of everything.
I also asked if the laundry could be done faster than the standard 24 hours—by the evening. She assured me it would be done perfectly, with the cost starting at 50,000 per kilogram of clothes.
I gave her two separate stacks of clothes: colorful pants with a gray T-shirt in one stack, and another stack of five or six white T-shirts wrapped in a white shirt instead of a bag.
And what did she do? She stuffed everything into one bag (unfortunately, I didn’t think to check), sent it to the laundry like that, and they also just shoved everything together into one machine and washed it in hot water! They literally washed a stack of white T-shirts together with brightly colored, organic-dyed yellow-green-red-blue yoga pants, and it didn’t even occur to anyone that something might go wrong!
When I came to pick up my clothes, I found a bag full of dirty yellow T-shirts. At first, I was really surprised and asked how this could have happened. In response, this woman started insisting that I had handed in the T-shirts in that color. She even yelled at me, claiming she had video(!!) evidence showing me handing over yellow T-shirts, saying only one item was white. She was talking about the white shirt I had used to wrap the T-shirts — it’s made of nylon and doesn’t absorb dye even if washed with black clothes. So, yes, it remained pristine white, but everything else was stained by the dye from the pants.
Okay, I got curious and said, “Let’s compare our videos.” In my video and photos, I was wearing a snow-white T-shirts against white walls, lol
Also along with the same white nylon shirt, which was worn over another perfectly white T-shirt. I put on the freshly washed T-shirt again, along with the white shirt, and it was glaringly obvious how the T-shirt had changed color, and only after that she stoped saying they weren’t white ))
Attached a photo you can also see the difference.
Damn it, they saved 50,000 dong by not washing the colored clothes separately and ruined excellent T-shirts worth millions. At first, they tried to tell me that’s how the T-shirts originally were, but when I backed them into a corner with undeniable evidence, they forgot their own lies and started claiming that I was the one responsible for controlling the process, and that washing colored clothes separately was MY RESPONSIBILITY!
Let me remind you, when I handed my clothes to this woman, the two colored items were placed separately from the stack of white ones.

Read moreThis hotel is part of a collection of hotels acquired by the same people so it also says the 'Bizu Hotel' outside. They also own a hotel next door and one further down the road! This may be confusing so make sure you check the number of the hotel. ||This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Its right in the middle of the backpacker area so do expect some street noise but we experienced very little in our room and slept soundly. The wifi signal was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and much softer than the standard hard mattresses which seem to be prevalent in Asia. The room was very clean and there was a really big ensuite bathroom with hot water and a hot shower - luxury!||Breakfast is served in the morning on the 10th floor which has amazing views across the city. There is a menu of offerings to choose from as well as fruit, juices and coffee etc so we were always well filled. ||The management spoke excellent English and were extremely friendly and helpful. Other members of night staff spoke little English but made good use of Google translate! ||The location of the hotel is really convenient, within walking distance of many of the sights and centrally located in district 1. ||We stayed for three nights and really liked it there. Unfortunately, money went missing from our room safe while we were out. The management were keen to help me and were able to offer reassurances and there is cctv etc. They were absolutely sure this could not have happened. Sadly we are absolutely sure that it did. Despite this, we would consider staying there again, but we would take more of our own...
Read morethe location is the best thing about this hotel. it is just few blocks away from where the bus passengers alight (mekong express). You don't need to ride a cab. everything you need is along the street (bui vien) from restaurants, convenience store, clubs or if you just need a chair and drink beer. We got the supreme room suite for $22 per night for 2 pax (promo in agoda). Very cheap but doesn't include bfast which is ok . You get your own bathroom which is my main priority. Given that it is along the clubs, it can be a little bit noisy at night or at dawn but it is tolerable for us (we're at 5th floor). Just close the bathroom door. Room space was alright given the price and the bed and pillows were alright too. We had a problem with the AC but it was immediately fixed by their staff after we called. Staff were really friendly and helpful. ask them to get a cab for you so you won't get hustled by the cab drivers. wifi is free but tends to get weak during the day. you can go to the lobby, wifi has good reception there. I will definitely book this hotel when I go...
