Neighborhood We paid 21€/night this accommodation, room with window and one single and one double bed. We didn’t really look up the neighborhood it was located in, so this is a warning for anyone looking for a calm environment, do not book this hotel. The outside is extremely noisy, even with earbuds, and I’m not usually a light sleeper. You’re right in the center of the bar/club area. We slept terribly for 4 days.
Bed Bed is VERY uncomfortable. I could feel the springs of the mattress. There are stains on the bed sheets.
Cleanliness Room was at first glance clean, but only superficially. There was a ton of dust, plastic wrappers and food residue under the bed and in the space between the bed and the wall. Gross.
Bathroom Bathroom was subpar, the walls are dirty and there’s mold in places. The toilet was clean though and looked new. We didn’t have hot water for the first day and after we told the hotel staff, we suddenly got hot water.
Staff One thing I really didn’t like is the hotel staff goes into your room to change your towels without letting you know, which is a complete invasion of privacy.
Positive things Room furniture is fine. Laundry service was fast and efficient. Room was a decent size and mini fridge was in good condition.
Overall experience Overall, the experience was poor. With the price we paid we weren’t expecting luxury obviously. But hygiene and cleanliness are the two things you expect from a hotel, no matter the price. This was my worst hotel in my 5 weeks...

Rooms: oh boy, there are problems. Clear mold growth next to the sink and in the shower, no question about it, this is a health risk. Mini-fridge was clean and nice. Air-conditioning worked really well. The window in the toilet is to a between space within walls or something. The only other window is with blinds that do not close properly so people walking to the next room see straight to your room/bed. Imagine a situation with a woman putting lotion to her naked body is completely exposed to people walking by on the aisle or going/coming from the next room. Privacy is invaded. Tiny, cramped, molded, exposed. 1/5. 0 If possible.
Service: Very polite and friendly staff. Definetely well mannered. Felt very welcome. 5/5.
Location: is perfect. Bus station a couple of minutes away. A park too. Easy to go anywhere from here. Very good indeed. 5/5.
Overall: yeah, the rooms are the issue. I will select something else next time. I hope you guys fix The mold issue and install a curtain to the exposing window. Thank you for your kindness. Because of the mold.....
Read moreI stayed in Ho Chi Minh just for a night for a transit to Siem Reap, so I searched the hotel that was super close to my bus agent. This hotel is less than 5 mins walking to the Giant Ibis and VET bus agent. Plus things that it is located back to the crowded area where all the food stores places, so even our stay was just for transit, we were able to try out the pho and other street foods too. It is also 10 mins walk to the night market. This place located in the alley, but it is not that scary alley. 24h front desk, so you will feel safe to come back anytime after explored nearby places. And even there are crowds at the back of the hotel, it is not too noise inside the room.
The room itself is clean. With the price, I was expecting few molds or smell, like any other cheap hotels. But no smell at all! The floor is super clean, the beadsheet too! And the bathroom is really clean and quite spacious. They also provided soap/shampoo sachets and clean towel. We ordered a room for 2, but it seems like it was the room for 3, quite spacious.
The staffs are super friendly and helpful! They speak good English and would really happy to help...
