This was, by far, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked if we wanted to pay immediately or at the end of our stay. We chose to pay upfront, which turned out to be a regrettable decision. When we entered our room, we found it infested with bugs. The bathroom was not only without toilet paper but also visibly dirty and poorly maintained. Additionally, while the room had been advertised as having a TV, there was only a wall bracket where one should have been. Though not a major issue, it added to the overall sense of neglect.
We immediately brought the state of the room to the receptionist's attention, showing her the bugs and the general lack of cleanliness. She was courteous and offered to move us to another room, but only for one night, as the alternative room was booked for the remainder of our stay. Unfortunately, the second room was no better—also dirty and full of bugs. At this point, we requested a refund, as staying in such conditions was simply not an option.
The receptionist informed us that she would need to speak with her manager. After showing her the second room, she returned with the message that her manager refused to issue a refund. We were told that we could either move into the new room for the night or leave without reimbursement. Shockingly, the receptionist relayed that if a refund were given, she would personally have to cover the cost, which seemed completely unfair, as the issues were clearly beyond her control. When we asked to speak with the manager directly, we were told she was unavailable as she was in the United States.
Ultimately, we chose to leave the hotel, as the conditions were unacceptable.
This was the worst experience we encountered during our entire trip through Southeast Asia, and I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel unless you're comfortable with dirty,...

The lady at the counter was kind enough to give us a early check-in at a nominal rate since we arrived at 4 am The hotel is adjacent to the walking street which stays open all night long and by 6-7, breakfast and coffee is available. This hotel is a couple of blocks to the right from the walking street, which is pretty close but keeps the sound away I was staying for 4 nights hence preferred a balcony and this is one of the few hotels which has a comparatively very nice balcony at the price and is quite close to the airport. The sound didn't bother us that much as its not too loud, if the slightest of the noise bothers you, do carry ear plugs.(Also we did walk down to the walking streets at night, post the tour of the city during the day) They were kind enough to keep our luggage for a week while we went to Mekong delta and Phuquoc on a bike. I wanted a place which being in district 1, would not be bang on, on the street and isn't one single shabby building, this place has a nice exterior and interior and the cat here has a great personality once you get to know them. They have secure parking for bikes as once you get it, it's solely your...
Read moreThis hotel is not 4star standard. It is nice enough and is in a good central location with lots of bars and places to eat. However that is all it had going for it. When we checked into our room we found items advertised as being included missing such as a fridge and soap for hand washing. The room came with a kettle but no cups, mugs, spoons or any coffee or tea. Not sure what the kettle was for in that case? The toilet bidet was leaking which made the floor wet constantly. When we asked, the staff did find a fridge from another room for us. At night the noise from the street included very loud music from 11pm until 3am which made sleeping difficult. We had booked for four nights, but after two days we asked to change to a quieter room which was accommodated, but at an additional fee of 450k for a “suite” with no tv, kitchen items, and a leaking bathroom basin we couldn’t use. The floor and bedding was a little dirty and there was visible wear and tear to various cupboards, shelves, and walls. All up it was disappointing as it wasn’t the cheapest hotel available by Vietnamese standards and we didn’t feel the staff were that interested in making us feel comfortable. In summary it was...
