IPANEMA Homestay — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Host told me that Ipanema was available through Airbnb. After I arrived at accommodation - host refused to accept or deny reservation request and payment through abnb. He then told me to pay him directly through paypal at a HIGHER price. Which is against Abnb policy. When I told him that it was unethical to do so, he said no one is forcing me to stay. They will also try to keep your passport, however a picture/photocopy should have sufficed. This was an extremely frustrating experience, with a nasty attitude in a service industry.
