Overal this is a really nice place to stay. It is new, it is perfectly located with short walking distance to the most famous places (like 2 mins from Ben Thanh market). It is new (or reconstructed), rooms are really nicely equipped and lady at reception (or manager or owner?) is very nice and kind and always trying to help. The hotel is also hidden from the street, so there is not so much noise as if you have a hotel directly at the street. On Agoda, where I booked the hotel, is the Studio Suite shown with bed and large floor to ceiling windows, also in the description is stated “city view”. That was the main reason we chose this hotel and this room, because as we found out, lot of hotels offer rooms without windows in HCMC (which for someone with claustrophobia is not okay). This Studio (and it seems all these Studio rooms in this hotel) has no city view, it is courtyard view through a little window (as you can see on photos). When I complained about it, I’ve been told that we have a correct room (and if you go and check directly on the website, than photos of the room corresponds with what we got and the room in the pictures on Agoda was Premium Double Room). Unfortunately they were completely full so there was no chance to put us in that Premium Double. At least the next day we got a room at higher floor with window which was possible to open, so it means a bit less noise from outside and more light. Also one thing I don’t understand why rooms have window to the hotel hallway.. which means anytime someone is walking, the light on the hallway turns on and shine to your room (the blinds there are not unfortunately black out blinds, so you are not able to make the room completely dark :/).. and it also means less soundproofing, right? Really don’t understand this decision (see photos..). The cleaning was also strange, some day we have very nicely cleaned room, two bottles of water provided etc., some day it was just about changing towels.. Normally I would rate this hotel with 3, but I am giving 4 because lady at the reception (or owner?) was really kind and nice and heplful and trying to make our stay as good as possible. Just please correct the information on the booking sites...
Read moreThe location of this accommodation is excellent, situated in a small alley next to Sunrise Central Hotel. Most of Ho Chi Minh City's popular attractions are within walking distance, with Ben Thanh Market just a two-minute walk away.
I arrived at 8 PM, and the main entrance was locked with no staff in sight. My calls went unanswered, and it was only after a few minutes that someone finally opened the door. The person was a middle-aged man who did not speak English, so communication was mainly through gestures and Google Translate. He did not provide any information about the accommodation.
The elevator is very small, fitting only one person with luggage. On the ground floor, there is a washing machine and a dryer, and when in use, the air is filled with a strong chemical fragrance. The website claimed that welcome drinks and fruits would be provided, but none were offered upon check-in.
I booked a Deluxe Room, but the window faced an indoor corridor, meaning the curtains had to remain closed at all times for privacy. The room did not have complimentary bottled water; instead, there was a water dispenser on the ground floor. The shower had very low water pressure, making it inconvenient to use.
Moreover, I found small insects on the pillow, and there were hairs on the bedsheets. In the bathroom, I killed a mosquito that was visibly full of blood from a previous guest. The next day, the housekeeping staff did not change the bedsheets, as the hairs remained.
The main advantage of this accommodation is its central location, providing easy access to various attractions while still being in a quiet alley. However, for the same price, there are many other hotels nearby that offer better services,...

I stayed with my group of friends at this hotel recently for 5nights and have mixed feelings about the experience. The biggest plus is the location — it’s very close to the market, which is convenient if you want easy access to local shops and food.
However, the room I got (premium double room) was unfortunately the worst in terms of noise after exchanging experience with my friends in other rooms(suite and deluxe). A nearby rooster without fail, will start calling as early as 2 a.m. and continued non-stop until around 9–10 a.m. every day. On top of that, the room came with a balcony facing the street, where merchants and vendors begin setting up very early in the morning, adding even more noise. If you’re a light sleeper, this can be a serious issue. The water pressure is very low in this hotel and every room is the same.
Another downside is that the hotel reception closes after working hours and is not available on weekends. After that, you’re left with a security guard who doesn’t speak English, which could be challenging if you need assistance.
That said, there are still a few positives. If you get a quieter room, this place can be a good, budget-friendly option. They offer laundry service if you stay more than two nights, and there are free bananas available daily in the lobby — a small but appreciated touch.
Tip: Ask for a room away from the street and without direct exposure to early...
